On our way to LAX after a pleasant visit to California, we stopped in Manhattan Beach and stumbled into a wonderful seafood restaurant (though we were a little concerned by its name, since fishing with dynamite back home is destroying coral reefs). But we were confident that the fish we were served would not be illegally harvested! We were delighted to enjoy the serendipity that brought us through the doors and to a nice table with an ocean view and a nice menu that offered a wide choice of fish dishes. We all order something different, from seabass to squid, and shared tastes among us so we could all enjoy the wonderful tastes. We'll be back on our next visit to California.

True California Coastal Cuisine with Los Angeles nightlife. Start with a craft cocktail and fresh oysters or crab from our raw bar. Then move into one of our coastal inspired main dishes with a glass of wine from our extensive list. Overlooking the marina
Nice place with a beautiful view. Clean place but prices are so high for food and too loud inside. Joe's Crab Shack brings fresh seafood, authentic flavors and Southern coastal flair to locations all across America. Joe's menu features crab, fish, lobster, mussels, clams and shrimp.
Food was good but I wanted a blanket as it was freezing cold in the restaurant (unusual weather for LA). Staff were friendly. Was surprised by the prices which were more than expected for a casual restaurant. I should have looked at the menu online first.

We were happily surprised by this place! Very fresh tuna, and a nice variety of poke seasonings. I enjoyed the original and shoyu. The medium combo was plenty of food. I also loved the seaweed salad and white sticky rice. I canât wait to go back! Be aware it can get crowded, but the staff is wonderful!

This is my second time here and it was very good. Had the prime rib and it was prepared close to perfect. The shrimp cocktail was outstanding. Tried the crab legs that the person had next to me and they were over cooked so the shells were to soft but the meat was very good.

This review is a little late, but we sneaked in here New Years Eve. No reservation and Hostess found us a very comfortable table on the patio. They had a few different specials for the holiday. Service was great as well as all meals!

Had a nice meal here. Place is reminiscent of Pikes in Seattle. The chowder was great and full of clams. The fried shrimp was great. Lobster pot was super. 2 lobsters, clams, mussels, corn and potatoes was very good albeit messy. An outdoor sink to wash up would be nice. Cement benchs were a bit sticky but there are rolls of paper to cover them. Fun place for outdoor picnic style meal. Fish and shellfish selection amazing. Shellfish kept in live tanks so clams and mussels were clean and fresh. Lobsters steamed well. Delicious meal. Tad pricy for budget conscious diners but well worth it in my opinion.Wish we had one like this on the NJ shore.

Went with a friend on a Saturday night and was seated right away. Our server was prompt, friendly, and efficient. We ordered onion soup and crab and artichoke dip, no drinks, and one order of ice cream. That cost us $54. Most entries are thirty dollars or more. The ambience is pleasant but the prices will keep me away.Ibaol, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.

This is a great place to mess up as much as you want to enjoy good seafood in a casual atmosphere overlooking the sea. The only downside is that, after you mess up like you're supposed to, there is no place to wash your messy hands other than the tiny restroom. If there is one outdoor faucet just for washing hands, the restroom queue would be much shorter. Great way to spend your day, regardless.ãããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããããã
