After spending some time to look at reviews of restaurants we thought the Green & Grills appeared a great choice, however it did not live up to expectations. Unfortunately it took some time to actually find the restaurant to then be concerned that it was completely empty. The staff were initially still keen and and helpful. The menu was limited and for children 2 out of the 6 options were not available. My wife and I chose the Tuna steak which was average at best and predominantly over cooked. One of my son's chose the ribs which were cool the the touch. They did all enjoy the chips! Before we finished our mains they had decided to close up the restaurant and we watched and became uncomfortable as they packed everything up around us. As they took our plates away it was obvious they wanted us to move on and didnt even offer a dessert, however we did get a snapps drink. Based on a meal we had the night before this was over priced at 660kn. Disappointing to say the least.

My husband and I are here a number of times during our stay at Ripenda Verbanci and thoroughly enjoyed the friendly family service - young waitress is married to the chef who's parents own it. Food was very tasty with a good selection of fare but not so much choice that you are overwhelmed. The truffle steak was absolutely gorgeous. We had never tasted truffles before and the taste of this meal was fantastic. Istrian potatoes ( cooked with onions and bacon) compliment perfectly.Lovely homemade Apple and poppyseed strudle was also an unusual but tasty new dessert for us.The only downside would be the mosquitoes in the evening as the tables outside are under trees. V pretty but you need repellent.

Our family stayed here for lunch during our trip to Croatia. The restaurant is within a short walk (1 min) from the main square and parking places, along the side of the city walls. Stunning scenery and slightly more quiet than the restaurants in the city square. Plenty of staff to serve people and our waiter was very attentive and fast with assistance. Good selection of various dishes and price still good for your wallet. Our family had ham and cheese as starters, gnocchi and beef, and chicken for the main dish. We enjoyed the place very much and picked up ice cream as we walked off to see the town of Labin. Would we come here again? Yes, absolutely.

A cute little restaurant near the sea, which caters the best seafood and fish in town. I would definitely recommend making reservations as they are booked most of the time. The service is great, as the staff speaks both german and english and extra wishes are taken into consideration and being fulfilled.

We visited this restaurant for an evening meal. The tables were beautifully laid & the waiters were very polite & helpful. We had a table upstairs & outside which gave a great view of the square. Good choice of meals - would definitely recommend cuttlefish risotto & beefsteak strogonoff. Very reasonably priced. Booking essential.

Was pleasantly surprised to be able to eat GF here, had lovely grilled chicken, grilled veg and boiled potatoes, was all so tasty. House white was also great. Kids had spaghetti bolognese it was good but the portion was huge, definitely recommend sharing one between two. Lovely view and friendly staff, they gave us a complimentary local shot and added honey to mine as it was wayyyyyy to strong for me!! Nice touch

Went here for dinner one night during our stay in rabac. The food and wine was fantastic and the service was very friendly and attentive. We tried a few restaurants in rabac and this place was by far the best.

Everything is prepared with attention to the smallest detail, the service is welcoming and kind, elegant atmosphere, but the main protagonist is the quaity of the food. Some dishes could appear 'simple' but Restaurant Peteani will surprise you no matter what. You can have a proper dinner starting fron 30 Euro and easily go higher, but it worth till the last cent!

Staying in an all inclusive hotel and came here for lunch as a break from the hotel restaurants. It was busy which is a good sign. We had pizza, spaghetti bolognese and 2 soft drinks which came to about £20 which we thought good value for Croatia. Good service too and pasta was homemade.Dear Jackiebfromuckfield,thank you very much for visiting our restaurant, we are happy that you enjoyed ouf offer and a service. Stayed here for a week in reasonably priced room. It was clean and comfortable accommodation with partial sea view from balcony. Breakfast not great - no fruit or eggs usually unless requested. Also, regrettably mine host was permanently grumpy. The restaurant is rated best in town but a lot more pricey than others nearby and several customers were not that impressed. This could be 4 stars if more welcoming and food better at breakfast. We stayed here in reasonably priced accommodation. It was clean and comfortable and had a partial sea view from balcony. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as usually no fruit or eggs unless requested. Regrettably mine host was a bit grumpy but maybe tired near the end of a long and busy season. The seafood speciality restaurant is rated the best around but people we spoke to said it was variable and overly expensive. This could easily rate four stars with some minor improvements
