Usually a waiting time on weekends. Not certain of if open all days of week. Food is good. Almost all is fried. The fried food is very greasy. Some had oil drip out of it when pick up to plate food. Friendly. Price ok for a seafood buffet.

I love this place! We went on a Friday night and it was full but the wait was short. There were 11 in our party. The food and service was great. My favorite is the beans and the hush puppies they bring to the table. So good. If you are in the are this place is a must try.
first time we have tried Mike's. Set up is walk up to counter and order, then food delivered. Needed special low salt diet, more than helpful in defining alternatives. Chef came out and reviewed what they could do to minimize sodium. Food was well prepared--from fried shrimp, catfish, and the grilled tilapia. brussel sprouts were very good. follow up for refills, etc was often. afterwards, chef came out to check how we enjoyed everything. would definitely go back when casually dining.
Not sure how they do their fried fish, but it is good and always in large portions. So order at least a piece less than you think you want. I like the large variety of sides, but this weekend was served cold steamed broccoli. It wasn't over-cooked, so that is good. Had to wait at the counter to ask for my drink and then had to go back, as no straws were out. Stood waiting again to ask to get a straw. Do like the real plates. Ice tea was good, too. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Always check for coupons, too.

I visit the area every so often and this is always one of the first places I hit. The food is good, not great but the Pub atmosphere in little P'ville Alabama is awesome! Love the people and the drinks are fantabulous!

Gumbo, fried fish sandwich, fried shrimp. Large portions. Has a very small seating area if you have to eat there, but we use it more for takeout.
