If youâre going to be in the Denison area, youâve got to make a stop at Huckâs! They have the best, cleanest, white and tender, perfectly battered and cooked fried catfish. Their tartar sauce is also delicious and goes perfectly with the fishâask for extra! We love their baked potatoes and potato and ham potato salad, as well as their hush puppies and theyâve got some great veggie options. They also have the option of gluten free fried catfish with a cornmeal batter. And of course theyâve got other entree options and a full kidâs menu, but in our family the fish is the favorite! Youâll leave this place full and happy!

Red Lobster has many tasty dishes. The coconut shrimp appetizer is quite nice. They have fresh fish, and many nice sides. They do a wonderful bake potato that is not too big.

Iâd seen David Beardâs Catfish King from IH 75, & with being our swan song / Sherman, we ate fish & oysters here. Iâd been to David Beardâs Catfish restaurant, outside Shreveport, LA (on a huge lake)...... Funny thing, the hostess said, (up front), that this was different management.? I had their Cat & Oysters w/superbly baked potato (cafeteria style) and Leslie had the cat plate. Good pickled cucumber cubed! Iâm from Tommyâs Fish House PVLA (on the bayou). Here no water seen? KEEP PARTYING !! Tommy

hamburger, wings, salad, all tssty & reasonably priced, service by christopher- excellent, restaurant and bathrooms clean, nice decor, moderate crowd on a sat afternoon in july, but immediate seating. We really enjoyed this, especially the view, and will do it again.
