We thought about dinner at this place but decided to save it for breakfast the next day. The Crabcake Benedict did not disappoint. Poached eggs on top of fried green tomatoes on top of crabcakes on a English muffin with a marvelous hollandaise. We also shared 3 delicious beignets served with a warm praline sauce.

Came across this place while staying nearby for work and needing somewhere to eat late. Waitress was nice and friendly, food wasn't anything extraordinary. Cheesecake I ordered to go and ate the next night was really good! Not a bad spot, decent menu and price. Long wait to pay even though it was virtually dead at that time of night.

This late 2016 newcomer delivers great food in an upbeat and well decorated atmosphere.Seafood preps were different (and tasty) from the norm...the 3 we chose were redfish, shrimp alfredo and seared salmon. Good portion sizes as well. Our server, Teesha, could not have been any better. She should be the model for what all servers should strive for. Knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and most of all, makes you feel like she is "on your side."

The raw oysters were good and we had a really good Californian Chardonnay, which was reasonably priced. However, the jumbo shrimp were not so jumbo, and had been frozen. The ceviche was a clumsy, clunky piece of a not very fresh white fish. Our server was very nice and knowledgable.Given the quality of the oysters, they need to apply the same quality control to the rest of their seafood. It could be a great place.

Great food, good service; lovely ambiance. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine, the shrimp and grits appetizer, she crab soup, and a filet with barbecue shrimp. The wine by the bottle is very fair priced. The appetizer and soup were delicious. The filet and shrimp were also good. The steak was prepared properly. All in all, a very good to excellent experience. Would certainly return.

First, the restaurant's atmosphere is wonderfully old school without being at all dowdy or pompous. We asked about 6 weeks in advance for a table by the window and they accommodated us very nicely. We had to wait a bit, but the bar was a lovely place to wait and have a couple of (very strongly made) drinks, which were also more reasonably priced than I would have expected at an upscale restaurant. The signature for the food here is that the tastes are subtle, not overdone. So the complimentary biscuits, served with honey butter and marmalade, were very light, my wife's homemade blue cheese dressing was also deliciously light, her filet mignon was perfectly cooked w/ no seasoning, just a sauce on the side, etc. The highlight for me was the she-crab soup, one of the best soups of any kind I've ever had. Topped off with house-made ice cream, this was a terrific experience.

I ate here with friends on a Monday. They were able to seat the 8 of us without any wait about 6:30 so I was very happy about that. The food was good and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Everything about this place was good, I thought.
