Stopped in a little before 6 and the place was already busy. Lots of people picking up take out! We were quick to get a table for two. Ordered beverages and checked the menu. Halibut, haddock and cod were all available. Service was very quick and the fish and chips were served hot! Plate included a nice piece fish, lots of fries, coleslaw and a wedge of lemon.Great tasting fish and nice crispy batter. Fries were great as well. If you like coleslaw, the serving may not be enough for you, but it is a great compliment to the fish and chips.Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

We always stop by the Halibut House when we are staying in Port Perry. With all the fish and chip places in Port Perry this is by far the best. Large pieces of fish that aren't all batter. It's a expensive dinner if you have to feed a family of 4, but a nice treat.

Halibut Time is THE place to go in Port Perry for Fish and Chips! The batter is homemade recipe and is excellent. The fish is light and flaky and cooked to perfection. There is also a fantastic Breakfast until 2 pm. I love going for the scallops too. Residents of Port Perry can be found at Halibut Time because they know this is the best place in town for great food. Shhh it's Port Perry;s best kept secret!
