I love a good crab sandwich and was recommended to try Just Shellfish at Port Issac. Looking at all the fresh fish, crabs and lobsters freshly caught earlier.I requested a crab sandwich with lemon juice and black pepper in granary bread. I took it away with me to eat later. I can tell you it was the meatiest and succulent crab sandwich I have had in a long time.I may just have to go back for another one before my holiday ends.

The Harbourside is a cafe / bar. Its incorporated in the Slipway Building, directly across from Port Isaac Harbour. It serves traditional foods and drinks all year round although winter hours do vary.
Called in today had a cream tea which was just ok a cheese sandwich with salad and crisps, the cheese was awful the bread was stale and the salad was limp, the waiter bought it on a dirty tray the serviettes were damp, the jam and cream was cheap and not tasty and to add insult to injury it was very expensive the worse meal we have had after a weeks holiday in cornwall and also the most expensive a total rip off, place is dirty. My advice is do yourself a favour and AVOID

Really great place, not cheap, good food mostly fish but it is Cornwall. Staff really great, and one young lady entertained is with story's of the place, I actually think she is in the wrong job she should be on the stage. If you are in Port Gaverne this is the place to eat.

A trip to Cornwall wouldnât be complete without a crab sandwich so gave this little cafe a try and couldnât of hoped for better. We sat outside with our dogs and received table service from a very friendly and chatty waitress. The sandwiches were very tasty and had a nice selection of drinks to accompany them, the only negative would be it was a tad expensive but hey itâs worth supporting small local businesses. Well worth a visit! Love from Cheese and Ham and The Crabettes ;-)

Well yes this is a five star hotel, but if you are used to the big city hotels then you maybe in for a shock. This is a very old building, so a very, very old hotel. Tiny stairs and lots of rooms in strange places, a bit of a rabbit warren. Great feeling though. Staff great, meals really good, rooms comfortable and clean and well serviced. Felt a little bit like a step back in time but fun for all that. Thanks for a great stay.

Fresh, local, simple. Good Food.
Went for a meal on a Friday whilst staying in Port Isaac. Nice atmosphere, food was very good - crab linguine, burger was moist and full of flavour and the chips the best we've had. Service was prompt but not obtrusive. Would highly recommend.
