Fully relaxed, super tasty homemade food of Galley Tavern & Beach Bar at Plaka Beach, on the mainland of Poros, in Galatas. With a picturesque view of the Poros island, in the quiet and protected bay of Plaka Beach youâll find the sunny dream of Elena and
It is a decent beach 5 minutes drive from town center. The beach itself it is nothing special (compared to what other islands offer), however one can swim to the 2 small islands opposite which are very interesting to see (10 minutes swim max). There is also a small tavern where a salad and a cold beer during a hot summer day is a must. From there also one can walk to the lemon forest which is a great experience. Great views and a nice cold waterfall there you can shower. It is worth the visit!Thank you. It should be visited in the summer, with our beach organized with sunbeds and umbrellas and also tasting our delicious appetizers and cooked food in front of the sea

The tavern "SpÏ ros" on Poros island is a well-known family restaurant to residents and visitors since 1975, due to Theano's traditional and homemade recipes. Using local ingredients offers you daily fresh fish from the sea around Poros, meat and vegetable
Outstanding view near to the naval base, been coming here for many years and think that the fried feta cheese and Gavros (fried whitebait) is always consistently better than other places.Calamari was very good too.Service with a smile especially from Yannis as always but all the staff is helpful and welcoming.I wish we had chance to come a second time during our stay but will come again next year for sure.Always generous portions, especially with the main meals.Thank you very much for your comments, we hope to see you again soon

8 of us called in last night around 9:30pm just for dinner and some drinks. We ordered some starters like tzatziki, halumi, saganaki, fried chips and more. For main dish i had a fresh grilled calamari and a tuna steak. All was absolutely delicious and tasty. The decor was wonderful and the view incredible. Staff treat us with great service with a smile. They were very friendly and attentive. So the true measure of quality service is how you deal with this situation and they were brilliant! Definitely we will go again soon.

Beach bar/ restaurant right on the sand. The zucchini balls tasty enough but the dipping sauce with advertised, but non existent lime, needs some attention boss of the kitchen. Grilled sea bream with sauted veg was delicious. Give the house wine a miss here - really rough and more way more expensive than other local establishments.

We came here on our first night based on Tripadvisor reviews, and I was sorely disappointed. Lacking in vegan options, got drinks order wrong and the vegetables I did have were lack lustre and bland at best. Very overpriced. Lots of other restaurants in the vicinity with more value and variety.
