Ocean basket is my favorite restaurant in South Africa. Actually only seafood restaurant available in Limpopo. We used to have lunch almost every weekend when it was cheaper in old days. And food is nice. Although my regular dish has been Platter for one with fried calamari head and grilled fish and just rice for most of my lunches. But I also tried sushi, salmon, salad and their nice Baklava dessert and ice cream too.All nice. Salmon is my daughters favorite dish.We most often go to Mall of the North branch of Polokwane.Savannah branch has the advantage of a very calm environment and a new kids corner for younger kids.Could be nicer if they become straw less, have WiFi and a classic music background.

We were pleasantly surprised at The CAPE TOWN FISH MARKET Restaurant at the Thornhill Shopping Complex in Polokwane which we visited today..The ambience was serene, the waiters went out of their way to attend to our needs. We enjoyed the meals especially the Salmon teriyaki meal which was delicious. We also had other meals as stacked hake and kabel jou. What made these meals particularly delicious was the terriyaki sauce which we had with its excellent flavour. There is also a Sushi bar in the Restaurant which all adds up to a great atmosphere in the restaurant.
Always Open and Always Good
I never miss the oyster starters here that I would normally follow with either seafood pasta or prawn pasta. It is the set up of the restaurant that makes it a good place to hang at during the warm Polokwane summer. The waiters are polite all the time.
