Baja-style mexican with a California Twist! Enjoy outdoor casual dining right across from the water in beautiful Sausalito.
Found this lovely little taco place after a beautiful cycle along to Golden Gate Bridge to Salsalito. The homemade tortilla chips and dip were great and my fish tacos and accompaniments were delicious. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
I was there 3/4/13 . I hadn't been there since 2009. They are still serving excellent, well seasoned seafood. They advertise barbeque but I didn't see evidence of that. The side dishes were horrible though. That has certainly changed! After Lorraine's Seafood changed hands in the early 2000's, the banana pudding was still "the bomb" and the sides were good but all that had changed. The coleslaw had way too much mayo and they used chopped cabbage instead of finely shredded and was without seasoning. The greens tasted like frozen greens that were put in the pot to heat. No seasoning at all!! The same went for the potato salad which was diced potatoes and mayo only!and ditto for the macaroni salad. And the nerve to charge $1.95 for a small cup that held exactly 2 1/2 Tblsps.!!! SUMMARY: Eat the Seafood, " leave the SIDES there to feed to the birds".!!!!

Located in a new strip mall, La Lupita is very new and clean looking with interesting wall art. The staff is very friendly and solicitous. However, the food was not very good. (Maybe because it was a Sunday evening.) When evaluating Mexican food, the "gold standard" for my wife and myself is carnitas. My wife ordered the carnitas tacos and I ordered the carnitas super burrito. Unfortunately, the carnitas were dry and tasteless. Interestingly, on the wall were taped pieces of paper and a white board with East Indian food items listed. Apparently, there is an East Indian connection to this restaurant, but we could not find out due to the language issue. We will not return.

Locals and visitors from around the world have been enjoying fresh seafood in this 19th century Victorian building. A historic landmark and family owned for over 40 years, Scoma's is surrounded by the beauty of the San Francisco bay.
We had a lovely lunch here for an anniversary during a day trip to Sausalito from SF. The restaurant is beautifully situated, hanging over the water. Inside it has a real colonial feel and is very elegant. Crisp white table cloths etc. We both had the curried mussels as a starter which were amazing, the sauce was a coconut milk based curry and it was divine. We then both had the double lobster tails which were equally fabulous. All washed down with a bottle of Sancerre. No room for dessert sadly. The food was lovely and our waiter was charming and very efficient. The only reason for 4 stars not 5 is that, given the price of our meal, we felt rushed. We were quite near the door and very aware of lots of hustle and bustle, with guests waiting to be seated loitering around. It wasn't quite the relaxed atmosphere we hoped for. However, given it's location in Sausalito I guess we should not be too surprised.

Located in Marin County on San Francisco Bay in the charming town of Tiburon, Sam's Anchor Cafe has long been famous for fresh seasonal seafood, a fun atmosphere and breathtaking views of Angel Island, Alcatraz and the San Francisco skyline. Founded in 19
We sat on the deck overlooking the marina - and WOW! Priceless views of the SF skyline and bay, Alcatraz and Angel Islands. (Bet you can't take just 1 picture!) But then we were worried that the view would overshadow the food - wrong! Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious! Overall one of our best dining experiences!

Established in 2013, owners Renzo and Crystal were honeymooning in Tiburon and came across the vacant restaurant on a romantic stroll on Main St. They put a lot of love into the renovations to enhance the beautiful spot. Executive Chef Renzo has been a re
Made our reservation via Open Table and were seated right away! It was a beautiful day, but a tad windy, so we chose to sit inside. Our waitress was wonderful. She even recognized our hostess who frequents the restaurant and remembered just how she likes her vegetable side dish prepared-very impressive! We started with the prosciutto and melon. Beautifully presented. Wonderful warm tiny ciabatta type rolls served as well. We both had the eggplant Parmesan with a side of garlic spinach (sautéed or steamed)-Cooked to perfection. We. Were. Stuffed! Canât wait to go back again. We had been once prior and sat outside and it was lovely. They are attentive and provide whatever you want however youâd like it! The menu is great and hard to make a choice for sure-SO many great items! We had NO room for dessert....maybe next time??? Highly recommend. Many locals and a small place, so reserve a spot-early is better....fills up quickly!
