Plymouth's very own Man v Food and home to the Big 60 oz steak and Farmyard. Established in 2009 by my late father, who had a vision to provide the best quality locally sourced steaks which are cooked to perfection with all the trimming at reasonable pric
After last night's average dining experience, today brought a change of hotel and a determination not to get lost and wander round for miles and have a better dinner. MIssion accomplished.Top meal - starters a wee bit overpriced IMO - 5 pound odd for 4 wings is a bit cheeky but they were tasty enough.Pleasant surroundings and very friendly staff who were happy to chat and answer questions.Main meal - rump steak + ribs - was a triumph...very generous portions with onion rings + home made coleslaw + salad with lovely homemade dressing. Steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare...just about finished it....and the price was a bargain!!!They do a big eaters 'Man vs Food' menu - which I'd love to wade into on a non-school night. Defo on my return list for when I'm back in Plymouth..Thank you so much for your review, I so pleased you enjoyed your overall dinning experience. With us, and so look forward to seeing you again soon kind regards

Charlie Franks is an exciting new fish and chip shop in the heart of Plymouth. We offer daily specials of freshly caught fish from Plymouth fish market. Great quality food for a great price.
Mothers day was a special treat as we had a table of 11 at Charlie Franks. From the moment we walked in we were so taken care of. Polite staff & very efficient service. Mixologist Elliott is an absolute diamond & so knowledgable about every drink!Once we were seated our food was served on time, hot but most of all delicious!Big thanks to the chef & kitchen staff as it was so so busy but you'd never know it. The best bit is that being a coeliac it was completely safe to eat for me. Chef is spot on with it.It is such a beautiful, clean place, cannot wait to go back. THANK YOU guys!!!!

An unexpected surprise, booked because I had a voucher, did not expect great things, but oh boy was I wrong. Greek food better than we have had in Athens, seafood to die for. A real gem, friendly staff and sensible pricing. We will come back!

We return to Platters every time we are in Plymouth. The service is friendly the prices are very reasonable but most of all the seafood is fresh and always cooked to perfection. The Clam chowder is amazing. Would highly recommend Platters and will be returning next time we are there!

A small family run bistro, offering over 50 wines sold by the glass, carafe or bottle. All food is cooked to order, so we're not a place to visit if you're in a rush (unless you pre-order), but a great place to relax and enjoy fresh local produce. Primari

There are a few fast food eat in and out food places in Plymouth some of which have a modest cult status in the city either because of their prominent and convenient position or because of a consistent reputation. West Hoe Fryers has such a reputation for
Nothing like a great fish and chip shop. This is one of them. Never had a bad meal here - and the staff are always friendly and polite. In fact, we go out of our way to come here as the food is so consistently good! Best in Plymouth.Definitely one to try, if you haven't!

If you like your fish and chips, you will struggle to find better !! We were at Tom Kerridges Hand of Flowers recently(2 Michelin stars) and I wouldn't swap the fish for what I had at the Harbour . Great staff , great fish and chips, look forward to returning soonHi Neil3333,What a great review, thank you so much! To compare our Fish and Chips with that of a two Michelin-starred restaurant is praise indeed!I'll definitely pass your kind comments onto our Front of House and Kitchen teams, we all work extremely hard to ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their faces.Hopefully we'll 'sea' you again soon.Kind regards,Steve

We ordered a big portion of cod and a big portion of cod and chips. The pieces of fish were enormous, nicely battered and really tasty. The chips were good too. One portion was enough for 2. It was very quiet in the late afternoon. We didn't have to wait long and the meal was served piping hot. The only negative thing was the dirty floor.
