it was with great pleasure to return to the Esmeralda and find that the original owners were now running it again. The food is excellent especially the seafood spaghetti and also reasonably priced. The staff are always very friendly and provide excellent service. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys great food.

A Caribbean and French restaurant. We are pleased to welcome you to this brand new establishment in Samara. Enjoy your meal.
We tried this place, lured in by the live music and the trip advisor reviews. It was very busy and the waiters were extremely harassed which does not make for a relaxing meal. We love spicy food but were disappointed that all our dishes were really bland and lacking flavour. I simply could not understand how it is billed as being Caribbean/Creole, yet hardly any spice! We were told that is because it is French Creole - really??? Hello,French Caribbean Food is spicy but not to much...Thank you for your remark about our food.We take constructively any complaint. It helps to get better.Thanks.JF

I ordered the pizza Roma and the Capricciosa. The side of Parmesan cost me around $3.00 and it was no parmigiano reggiano. The pizza was very authentic, thin crust and very good ingredients. Overall it was very tasty. Service was great but slow. The restaurant can get quite full which makes the service drop the ball. It has a great ambiance and I would catalogue it as one of the top visited places in Samara. Depends on the day and season but itâs not always that full. My dinner was about $50 for 2 for pizza which I find a bit overpriced but overall the food was good and the beach was great. Here are a few tips, walk around the whole restaurant to find the best tables, some of these tables are not visible from the entrance. Every day happy hours from4-6pm. Depending on the day they offer a special promotion ask your waiter. The restaurant offers a lot more than pizza but I didnât try any other dish.

We are close for green Season , but we will be back in November, 2019 with La Catrina 2.0 Thank you all and hope to see you next season
You canât miss this place if you come to Samara. This place has it all and just a 5 minute walk from Main Street Samara. Ambience. Beautiful and romantic twinkle lit covered deck. Amazing Cuisine. Though Iâm from California, I live in NYC. This place knocks it out of the park. I recommend the fresh local Lobster and the Lentil Green Salad. Fantastic presentation and delightful flavors. Tequila and Wine: The selection of Tequilas accompanied by their special lime (youâll have to ask the bartender Guaro what is on it but I can attest it is sublime... no pun intended) The owner Carla is delightful, our server Carlos was professional, fun and attentive. Iâm going to be in Samara for four months attending the Intracultural Spanish Language School. This place just might be my dining room. Thank you so much for your delightful and inspiring review!! It is an honor to had you and your husband at La Catrina . We hope to see you again really soon Best wishes ,Carla

International food, menu created by a french chef. Good wine, good vibe and really cosy ! Kid's menu avaiable.
Six of us went for dinner knowing this is more expensive than most restaurants in Samara Beach. Since most restaurants in town serve pretty great food and generous portions, we figured this would be at least that good. While the server was friendly and attentive, the food was below average. Nothing was "bad" but servings were small and the food was disappointing. My husband had the special chili con carne (about $11 USD) and received a grapefruit sized serving of steamed white rice surrounded by a small moat of average tasting chili. I had a shrimp and avocado salad for the same price and it was lackluster compared to similar salads around town for $7. Our daughter had ricotta ravioli for $13 and the portion was small and it was smothered in a white sauce that made the dish really heavy. Our friend ordered a pizza ($13) and the kitchen forgot her order. Her pizza came out about a half hour after the rest of the food. When she asked the owner to comp her food, he said he couldn't but took off about half price. He seemed angry we asked instead of apologetic for their mistake. The other two at our table had the veggie lasagna, which they said was good. But with all the great food in Samara, there is absolutely no reason for us to visit here again.thank you for your commissary, but let's put things in their place.when preparing the order of the table, the pizza was indeed forgotten. we can only apologize for it. no one was angry as you say (we made a mistake), but my amazement at your requestyour request was to make free pizza. what we can not do unfortunately. we charge you half price and remove the 10% service tax from the entire table. you are largely winning.Regarding the portions, you are poles apart from all other comments ?????here is what happens when you do not have access to a customer requestQED

This place is one of the best places in Samara. Itâs a little hidden, but make the effort to find it. In six night stay with here twice. First time we had the Paella for two. Delicious! Next time we had plantings , ceviche , fresh red snapper and shrimp dishes. Excellent. Good prices too

I am kind of a grill lover and never have ever seen anything like this place. Not the only the system is unbelievable but also how it translates the smoked flavor to every plate is absolutely outstanding.I had the grilled garlic for starter and the grilled squid filled with shrimps... still enjoying the madness of flavors and dreaming of tasting another entree ... definitely two thumbs up!!!

Just minutes from Samara´s town center, Samara Pacific Lodge´s unique atmosphere and restaurant will make your visit a truly memorable experience. Don´t make your dinner a âbare necessityâ but an outstanding evening of tastes and enjoyment. Our Chef finds
We ate at Sámara Pacific Lodge in early December. Very friendly, and delicious food. Also pretty reasonably priced for a nice dinner- $37 for two entrees and a glass of wine. It was romantic for couples but was also family friendly. If we had stayed longer than 3 nights in Sámara, we would have returned.

We are staying in this hotel but when we chose a dinner place we didnât realize it was actually in our hotel. The staff is very friendly and itâs a nice quiet spot.
