Food wasn't of good quality, personnel treated us quite poorly, meat was not a good cut. Not many people in the room.

Went to dinner with some local business colleagues, and had a really wonderful time. All the dishes (pictures attached) were fantastic, made with fresh fish and vegetables. The service was very attentive, and all in all we had a great dining experience. Very recommended!

Located in the heart of the historic center, 200 meters from the Roman theater and Traiano arch, a few steps from the Duomo "HAITI" born in 1965 as a bakery & ice cream later expanding the surface to 300 square meters. Current giving way to create you the
After wandering the city of Benevento, we stumbled onto this spot. At first it looks like only a bakery but once you enter and go down the steps you are in a quaint restaurant. The owner of the establishment was very pleasant and brought us fresh baked bread. We ordered two excellent salads and shared a main course of fruitta de mare. Everything was fresh and freshly made. It was just a nice place to go to lunch.

On a rainy Sunday afternoon, we were in Pesco Sannita for the first time and happened upon Prima e Poi. It was after two and my husband thought it was probably too late and their were a lot of cars. He sat in the car and waited while I went in and asked for a table. Not only did we get a table in the front window filled room but I had the best roasted calamari I have ever had. I do not say that lightly. We spend a lot of time in Southern Italy and I order roasted calamari often. It was well seasoned with lemon-oil and roasted to tender perfection. We both ordered an antipasto that wasnât called cervice but was reminiscent. I had a variety of fish marinated in lemon and vinegar. My husband had a carpaccio of tuna. These dishes were also exceptional. The restaurant is not a great place for someone in a hurry. It took a while for each course to be delivered. Actually, we finished a bottle of local wine before the antipasti arrived. It was a great white, so we felt compelled to get a mezzo litre to accompany our food. My husband had grilled swordfish, which he enjoyed, and we both had fresh salads. The total cost, including two bottles of mineral water, was 56 euro.

This little gem is a great family restaurant. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we crossed the door. The menu is typically Italian and in Italian as well! They have the usual Italian fare plus local specialties like snails and horse meat. The food was great, with large portions and the chef (owners wife!) came out to make sure we were enjoying our meal. It was good home cooked country meal. I could not have asked for more. The owner even treated us to a glass of local grappa at the end of the meal. Even got a kiss by the chef! Like mom use to do!! Highlight of our Benevento trip.
As an Italian-American, I consider good food one of the most enjoyable things in life. We walked all over Benevento one night and happened upon Cocotte, not far from Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. The decor was interesting and attractive so we decided to take a chance having done no research on Benevento restaurants. We were richly rewarded for our long walk with excellent seafood and friendly/competent service. We were so impressed that we dined here on 2 of our 3 nights in town.
