We were pleasantly surprised to pass this crab house on our way home to Connecticut after a long, enjoyable road trip down south. We were looking to bring home live blue crabs for a perfect ending. They had all the crab you wanted along with other fresh seafood. This establishment is also a take out restaurant offering freshly fried fish. The two guys working on this Saturday morning were wonderful and friendly. At no charge, they packed up our dozen extra, extra large blue crabs to go in our cooler and filled it with ice to ensure the crabs were alive and kicking when we got home. Cooked them up Old Bay style and felt like we were in Baltimore eating at a fine restaurant in Inner Harbor. They were fresh and filled with meat. We'll be taking a day trip to Capt. Zeaks when we need a crab fix.
This restaurant is only open Friday - Sunday and is located inside the Farmer's Market in Hare's Corner. I LOVE this restaurant. Staff is so friendly and the food is to die for. Menu is extensive and has a great selection of any seafood you can think of. Food is always fresh and well seasoned. Once you eat here, places like Red Lobster and Joe's Crab Shack will never measure up. Much better prices as well. Keep in mind, it is a hole in the wall. Seating is limited and they are usually packed on the weekends.

Febyâs has always been our go to restaurant to celebrate special occasions for our family or when out of town guests visit. We also go to Febyâs when we just want a delicious meal. Our childhood friends visited from Connecticut Labor Day weekend and did not stop raving about the food and the service. Once again Febyâs lived up to our rave reviews.

It's Rita's so who doesn't love it? I would give this Rita's 5 stars except that it is very small and has a very limited selection of flavors as opposed to a larger sized chain. Parking here is very limited and on a nice day, it is ridiculously crowded.

As a long time fan of Harryâs Seafood Grill, I was excited to return despite the name change. Our seats on the riverfront patio were lovely at dusk and service was as good as always. Unfortunately, the food was inconsistent. The raw oysters were cold and flavorful, though not well shucked. The beet salad was probably the highlight of my meal. Smoked Marcona almonds added wonderful texture and taste while the whipped lemon ricotta, paired with the beets and greens, was delicious. Dishes that had raw fish, however, were poorly executed. Knife skills for the tuna tartare and sashimi seemed lacking. The cuts were rough and varied too much in size. I did not find either dish enjoyable and I typically adore raw fish. Thankfully the drinks were cold and good. I doubt we will return.

On a return bus excursion from Virginia Beach back to New York we were accommodated quickly and competently by the staff. Our choice of entrees made for a nice lunch stop. All food was prepared and presented beautifully. My wife and I had the crab cake and our tossed salad with the Maple Vinagarette dressing was very tasty. The wait staff was extremely busy and very receptive to the many requests for drinks too. KUDOS to The Big Fish Grill on the Riverfront.Thank you for a wonderful review! We are delighted to hear about your positive experience from beginning to end. We hope to see you again next time you're in town! Brooke BennettBig Fish Restaurant Group Management

My spouse had the coconut shrimp, one of the few non-garlic, non-spicy items on the menu and I had the catfish and chicken jambalaya. Her's was 6 large shrimp accompanied with mashed sweet potatoes and hush puppies; my catfish was lightly bread and deep fried to a moist perfection. The chicken jambalaya was also moist with vegetables and lightly season; great meals. A lot of food and some left overs for take away. To full for dessert. The only thing was that there were 6 medium size shrimp for $26; a bit overpriced for that size shrimp.

We read a few good reviews on this restaurant and love eating on the water so we went here. This restaurant is very rustic, the chairs are plastic and comfortable enough, the music great, server Chelsea did an excellent job. We really liked our food, spouse said the crab cake sliders didn't need the bun and he would order them again anytime. It's a local place to hang out, drink and dance, how great.
