Formerly known as the Sansom Street Oyster House. Re-opened recently as The Oyster House. Would like to write a review.
It was an OMG experience. Both nights we ordered Dogfish Head IPA, oyster shooters, ginger beer, fried calamari, salad (1st night), fried shishito peppers (2nd night), and the piece de resistance, grilled whole Branzino fish which was accompanied with risotto and a green curry sauce. On the second evening, we asked if the chef could make the green curry sauce spicier and he did! This was one of the most incredible, memorable meals we've had. Both nights, the bill totaled slightly less than $100.. terrific value. We liked this restaurant much more than the nearby seafood restaurant. Highly recommended.

Why settle for an ordinary atmosphere when you can have an extraordinary one? Enjoy the beauty of the Amalfi Coast in Italy right in Old City. From the cobalt blue floor, to the spectacular life-sized postcards to the inspired menu, when you step into Pos
I have to say this was not my first choice but my friends said the reviews were good and it had something for my friend who has limited did interests. We were greater by a lovely waitress who was very patient and accommodating to us. We changed our minds a couple times. Unfortunately, as good as maybe the dishes looked, they did not meet our expectations. My friends were talking me out for an extra special birthday and I ended up feeling guilty for they spending way too much money on disappointing food. I didn't get the names of the two wait-staff that helped us but they were the saving grace. The girl who I assume was supposed to be the hostess was too busy in her phone to acknowledge us when we left. An expensive disappointment which I'll feel guilty about for awhile. Not what I wanted for my birthday! My friends are wonderful and said it didn't matter but I feel it did.

A hip & chic Italian Seafood Restaurant nestled in the quaint town of historic Collingswood, NJ.
We were greeted warmly by the owner who also told us the specials of the day. There is varios selection of seafood appetizers and entree. We selected stone crab claws and rock shrimp bruschetta. Both were delicious and the bruschetta portion was quite large. For entrees we ordered their 2fish specials and a seafood pot pie. There was a misunderstanding of 2 separate fish dishes so instead of grilled benzino and a dish of cod we ended up with 2 benzino dishes. They were accommodating and willing to exchange but I decided to try it and the benzino turned out to be delicious! The owner offered to treat us to dessert on the house- a big slice of chocolate cake and a carrot cake. Both my sister and husband said they were the best dessert ever. Will definitely return.

Three of us recently had dinner here on a Saturday night. Reservations were made online and we were eagerly anticipating this meal, being Morimoto fans and having read so many positive reviews of this restaurant. It did not disappoint! We were promptly seated at our reservation time by a friendly hostess and appreciated the interesting decor with the ever changing colors and sense of waves with the architecture. As appetizers we chose the wagyu dumplings and whitefish carpaccio, both were amazing. Two of us had the duck entree and the other had the black cod. Again these were two of the better preparations of these items that we've ever had. Desserts were all on the money with the tea cake being a standout. We also had a few cocktails and those maintained the overall high quality.Service was exceptional throughout the meal.Go here, spend some money and have a fantastic memorable dinner! One tip, keep your eyes open as it's kind of hard to notice the restaurant from the street.

You can expect the very best in contemporary Italian cuisine and seafood at Caffe Aldo Lamberti. A South Jersey Landmark for over 28 years and just minutes from Philadelphia, you will find mouthwatering menu selections such as chicken, veal, pasta, USDA p
I'll make it quick. We were a party of six, seated promptly when we arrived for our reservation. Drinks arrived quickly and were well made. Everyone loved their meals. My wife and I both had the same things: the crab cake appetizer and a halibut special for the entree. Both were wonderful. You can find some reasonable wines on the menu. We had two vegetarians with us and they found much to like as well. And they have free parking as if you don't care to valet. What not to like! Yes, it was expensive but not at all out of line considering the quality of the food, service, and beautiful atmosphere.

Came across this by pure chance, looks nothing from the outside, but quite possibly the best steak weâve ever had! We are from the UK and have travelled extensively, and can honestly say that! The service we received from Anthony and Jennifer was outstanding, nothing was too much bother! The price was very reasonable; I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We made the trek across the Walt Whitman Bridge to Collingswood to try out this great little spot. When you walked in it almost feels like youâre in somebodyâs club basement, but the energy is absolutely fantastic. Our server was wonderful, friendly, funny, and professional. The food was without exception fresh and delicious. I recommend any of the sushi, but donât miss the Friday oysters or steamed clams. BYOB is an added bonus. This was just a fantastic experience all around
