We were staying in Pedasi but wanted to see some beaches, so we drove to Playa Venao and ate lunch at this resort. The food was average - we had the fish sandwiches and the octopus ceviche. However, the setting was great. The restaurant is open air and you can have a table or a lounge area with vinyl couches and wood rocking chairs. You can watch the surfers while you eat. The server was very good and we felt very welcome here.

Isla Iguana is a nice little local restaurant located on the edge of Pedasi. The owners are very nice people and on any given evening you'll find la Sra. watching her telenovelas while the locals enjoy their dinners. The food falls somewhere between fonda food and restaurant food and if more than one person is in your group don't expect the meals to arrive together. This is common in Panama. The fresh made chichas or fruit beverages are highly recommended especially the pineapple. The pricing is reasonable and it one of the few restaurants in town open on Mondays.

An incredible French cuisine experience in a beautiful setting. At a very reasonable price! The fish is super fresh and served with âcharmeâ. Remarkable all the wooden works, from the floor inside to the lavabo in the toilets! And the magic petrol lamps! Merci beaucoup to Terry and his sweet waitress.
Mamu is a place where you can find fresh, local fish and sea food next to others fresh flavors. We are located fifty steps away from the sea and offer indoor and outdoor seating areas. From both you will enjoy ocean view and stunning sunsets/ moonrise. Ho
Good food and nice close by the beach venue. We had a fried Robalo fish and a couple of appetizers that were tasty. The only thing I didn't like was people smoking a lot next to us. Just a preference that I enjoy my meal without cigarette smoke. We will return and try again.Thank you for your review Scott! :) We are happy you like the food and hope to see you again . On your next visit please let us know if you are bother by any smoker and we will like to resolve so you can enjoy 0 your dinner. Cheers

El Sitio Hotel de Playa Venao is located in Playa Venao right on the water! Expect to sink into the comfort and fine amenities of our Hotel and surrounding ambient, all well hidden into the Rustic Styling and authentic feeling of Panama Tropics. The compo
We stopped by for lunch. Service was great although we had to use our translator app, no problem though. Everything came out fast and correct. Our waiter even tried to make conversation with us which was very pleasant. I had the guacamole and the pad Thai, both were very good. The view from the restaurant is very nice.

Panga is a farm to table restaurant. We try to only use products from the Region of Azuero and respect the products. We believe in good honest food and we want to grow while helping the local small producers grow with us.
After reading the reviews, I was really excited to try this restaurant. I donât consider myself a picky eater, however, I donât like seafood. I figured I could find something on the menu to eat. Get there HUGE disappointment. I ordered 2 appetizers thinking ok this will be good. I get this tough grilled corn cob with what I think was marinated cabbage on it. I ate it but it wasnât that great. I also got chorizo sausage with potatoes which was a little better but not much. There really wasnât anything else on the menu for me. My companions got the fish and chips and the shrimp that they said was good but not great. I had the passion fruit dessert that was the best part of the meal.We have tried other restaurants in the area for a lot less money that were a lot better.
