the staff took our order. some of us are vegetarian and ended up with fish on our plates even though we thought we made ourselves understood only vegetables. staff were not happy at all and the whole experience was a disaster. one of our group just gave up and didn't eat anything

What a find! Freshly caught seafood and cooked in whatever way you desire. We chose the Loban, a sweet small fisd done in garlic and spices and six delicious spicy prawns in and amazing sauce. Vegetable Fried rice and Lime juice were the perfect accompaniment. And all for less than 100MR. Highly recommend for a genuine seafood experience.

We came here on our first night in Langkawi. The setting of the restaurant is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Huge restaurant although rather empty due to low season. The food quality was good and the menu was varied. Would recommend dining here for a nice lunch/dinner. Compared to other restaurants in Langkawi, it is on the more expensive side but we still had a nice three course meal.

Awful staff, awful atmosphere and awful food.This place wants your money and you out asap.Yes it's cheap and there is a good reason for that. The quality of the food served here matches the cost..... Cheap.I can honestly say I have had better frozen rice at home. The Thai style chicken was a cut up breaded chicken escalop smothered in sweet chilli dipping sauce... Foul.This is the worst meal we have had since arriving a week a go. Far better places to visit.

We loved the food here and have been here a few times. The only problem is that it looks like it needs a serious renovation. I understand the current short term leasing arrangement stops the current tenant from wanting to invest, so it's a shame the owner is so short sighted. This place could be the very best dining spot in Langkawi if it looked a bit smarter. The food is fabulous and the bar area is really great -- and the decor looks a lot better there than the main restaurant. Such a shame as this could be so much more! By the way, loved the Rendang here!!!

Wonderful dining experience. You select the fish you want from the tank, itâs freshly prepared in Chinese steam style, juicy delicious fish in a spicy sauce. Fresh Mango salad and veggies as side. If you wish, they serve decent white wine here too (due to Langkawiâs tax-privileged status not as expensive as in Malaysia mainland).

Besides the reasonable food prices and cheap drinks the atmosphere and the friendly staff is why this restaurant is one of our favourites. They have a large selection of meals and everything we have ordered is always delicious. Local dishes ate very cheap and good size portions.Plenty of parking available and clean bathroom on site.

Amazingly authentic Japanese food and drink. Choose your food well. They are made with care for sure. Prices are a bit steep but the quality is excellent. as is the service The restaurant is located at the Ambong Ambong villas and one needs to have reserved in advance .

Drove here for lunch right after our arrival at Langkawi airport. Restaurant was recommended by a local friend. Found the place very clean and airy. Service was efficient and prompt. Ordering from the English menu was easy and prices are clearly stated. The food was freshly prepared to order and was delicious. We had stir fried kailan, tomyum soup, squid with dried chili and a few beers. Prices were very reasonable and we left very satisfied. Wish we could be back to try other items during our trip but unfortunately we could not spare the time. Highly recommended for anyone in the Cenang beach area.

I was really lucky that day, It was my gf birthday and I picked same day to give her the ring so I searches for a nice restaurant preferably with great view for such memorable day. Once I decided I called them to book for 7:00 pm sunset time. They were very understanding and helpful and offered me to help with the whole âringâ thing. The only issue is the restaurant on top of a hill but once we reached the location we found a small car waiting to take us top.I was amazed. We got a super view table and talked to the manager there. He told me not to worry about anything. Took the ring and helped with the whole proposal thing. With a complimentary desserts with the ring inside it. Iâve got to admit we both were shocked of the idea but it was brilliant. Once we finished the day they offered the same small car to take us down again. It was awesome. Worth all the effort.thanks guys for making that day special. Thank you for dining at Rimba, we're glad you enjoyed your visit. We will continue to work hard to ensure that we consistently provide pleasant and memorable dining experiences to all our guests. We look forward to serving you again soon!
