The Lost Gull Fish N Chips proudly serves fresh Maine seafood to the people of the Oxford Hills Region. It is a staple to the area, and has visitors from all over the world. A special place to visit and be a part of!
Iâve been here many times over many years! I love the onion rings ! Itâs the perfect batter ! I wish that was the same batter on the haddock and clams ! Itâs more of a breading . They are still good ! Good food ! Large menu ! Decent prices ! Good portions ! Next time Iâll try the baked stuffed haddock !
There are other Chinese restaurants in town that I feel have better food, but this one is an ok option as well. Prices are reasonable. Staff mostly speaks in Chinese with heavy accents when speaking english which makes it hard to understand sometimes.

Service was acceptable, and the ambience, okay. The food was disgusting. The ribs were so old and dry, they could have passed for jerky. The chicken was dry and overcooked. There was no flavor in the meat or the veggies. The fried items were mostly greasy coatings. It was pitiful!!

Cyndiâs Dockside Restaurant & Boathouse on Middle Range Pond. They have the Pavilion, the upstairs Bar, outdoor deck and picnic tables during warm weather. Enjoy indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful lake views. picnic tables or the deck. Their specia
My wife and I stopped in for dinner on the weekend. The restaurant was not busy. Our server was average - notwithstanding the time she spent on her cell phone. My wife and I were both really, really disappointed in our entire experience. This unit is on a very short list of places that we will never, ever visit again. This restaurant frankly needs some serious restaurant consulting asap. Cyndi's is a restaurant concept that simply doesn't work, and the service experience is akin to just going through the motion - 'same as it ever was'. Prices are very high given the quality of the food, presentation, and dining room 'atmosphere' - or lack thereof. The location is outstanding though - directly on the lake. All food in the dining room is served on thin paper plates and red plastic baskets. While this works for an ice cream stand at the beach - it just doesn't work when the Wedge Salad is $13, mostly iceberg, spread over a paper plate....and just awful. Cyndi's serves tortilla chips and generic salsa to start in a red plastic basket - stale, mundane, and very tacky. Water is served in 'dixie' paper cups. Who does that?? The Clam Chowder was not homemade - but similar to any canned clam chowder you'd find in the supermarket....very few clams...minced...and $8. Sandwiches come with no side - and again - are priced at the $11 range....you guessed it ...served on thin paper plates. The decor and seating are extremely tired ... with a used Glade fragrance sitting on the restroom urinal to greet you - and tile floors that are black and haven't been mopped in months. If this restaurant was anywhere else - with any competition - it just wouldn't make it. It's a shame - because it is a great location. If you're in the area - 'just say no to Cyndi's' - and if you're boating - just bring your own sandwiches.Dear FamilymanBoston_MASS, I am terribly sorry to hear you did not have a good experience here at Cyndi's Dockside. We have reminded our staff to limit time on their cell phones to their breaks. The reason we use paper products and baskets to serve food on, is that the restaurant is so busy we simply cannot keep up with the demand with dishes and the number of people dining. In order for the restaurant to flow well and not keep people waiting we use paper products. We consistently get great reviews on our clam chowder, I am sorry you did not care for it. Our sandwiches come with chips and a pickle, most often guests are ordering these at lunch and do not want a side. As far as the decor goes, we change this when the seasons change, and the restrooms, well I'm sure you would rather smell air freshener in the restroom. I think you'll find these in more public restrooms than not. Again we are sorry you did not have a good experience here. Sincerely, LauraCyndi's Dockside207-998-5008
