This review is long overdue and more about the kind of folks Captain Robin and Judy are and the service that they provided us during our trip on our sailboat in the San Juan's this past summer. While sailing into Sucia Island we experienced an on the water emergency with our boat and were very much in peril. Our boat became disabled and we were able to anchor, but we were very close to losing her on the rocks until Capt. Robin and Judy came to our rescue. I will always be grateful to them for coming to our aid. We most likely would have lost our boat if not for their quick, professional and selfless rescue that evening. Captain Robin and Judy would be first on my list to book a charter with for many reasons not the least of which is their willingness to help those in need. Thanks again for your rescue of my wife and I and our boat. We will look forward to seeing you again this summer far from the rocks this time.Dave and Marcy

We enjoyed out visit here very much. Nice setting, great view from the deck dining area, good service, and moderate prices for Orcas Island. Family style dining. NY Steak dinner included soup of the day, today a wonderful pea soup (which I don't usually like), a bowl of salad to be split, freshly baked sourdough bread (from Seattle and baked at the restaurant), fluffy, tasty mashed potatoes, and broccolini for the vegetable. The steak was a little more done than I ordered, but it was like I used to eat it, so I could live with it. Very tasty. My wife ordered:Seafood Penne PastaPrawns, Scallops, Shrimp and house-smoked salmon in a light cream sauce. Delicious. We ordered a slice of cheesecake to go, as dinner was a very filling meal.

The Loft at Madrona promises a modern and elegant dining experience. The bar has illuminated onyx with great views of the bay while also overlooking downtown Eastsound. The deck has been redesigned with infinity glass railings giving an unobstructed view
Had a great meal. View of Eastsound is spectacular, but the food is better. Homemade bread and artichoke dip for appetizer were excellent. Had steak and pork for main course. Both were outstanding. Desserts were unique and tasty ( cantaloupe sorbet with cucumber ice). Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We ate there twice and had delicious meals both times. Their small plates are more than enough food for a meal, very filling. We stayed at the Inn above the cafe, so easy access.

While vacationing with family we took the ferry from Anacortes to Orcas Island. I needed to do a boarding pass and asked if they had wi-fi. They did and gave me the password. I had a soda while doing the boarding pass and when I was done I asked what I owed and they said nothing. I took a kids menu with me so the grandkids could see if there was something for them on the menu. When I caught up with the family my wife and I and the grandkids came back and had lunch while their parents went off on their own. Food was great and we had a scenic view of the bay. Service was wonderful.

The cafe is Delicious food with a spirit of genuine service and hospitality Guests who visit the New Leaf remark on two things consistently: the quality of the food and the caring service. Your experience is always at the forefront of our minds - the food
I went here because it was recommended on Trip Advisor. And the food was great. I didn't expect it to be so charming. Too bad the waitstaff (both hostess and waitress) were in bad moods. Maybe it's because it was just after labor day and all they were short staffed. Waitress was so grumpy that we joked about it all week.

What a great retreat. The Innkeeper was very helpful on guiding us on getting to the San Juan's. The Inn was GREAT!! Overlooking Ships Bay, a beautiful vista. A good base for exploring the Islands. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Very comfortable.

The Mansion Restaurant The Mansion Restaurant is located on the original veranda of the historic Moran Mansion and offers creative local cuisine in a stunning waterfront setting.
We had a waterfront table to a beautiful sunset. Food and service were both good. If your a non-alcohol person, the ginger/lime/cayenne house made soda was really tasty. We had the mussels, seafood chowder, wild salmon, and halibut and all were nicely prepared and tasty. Prices are a little high, but this is a resort spot, so it wasn't to bad. Arrive a 1/2 hour early and tour the mansion upstairs to see the organ and all of the artifacts, it is pretty amazing to see!
