The restaurant is very modest and calm, both the waiter and the front of the house were pleasant, friendly and most importantly honest with ( fresh fish or not, frozen or not}.we liked the scallops, mixed rice, oysters, mussels and the fish of the day.

Delicious mini-cod, excellent chips too - tried some tasty cockles and mussels as starter. Service good, boy a lot of seating it comfortable enough and pleasant. Two hour parking nearby.Looking forward to going back and trying something more elaborate as the menu included oysters, swordfish, hake, monkfish and an interesting sounding fish stew!They also sell fresh fish!

I've been here so many times I thought I should review it - because it deserves recognition.The Frisch always cooked to perfection - very high quality. I do like a good crispy chip - fluffy on the inside. Never been disappointed. Staff are excellent.

Located within the centre of Nottingham, this is a great restaurant for friends or families. It has a wide menu of traditional British food and is a great place for tourists to sample British dishes in a casual environment. Having booked, we were seated in a beach shack style booth with subdued lighting, this would be ideal for somewhere romantic. The cottage pie was delicious!HiWhat lovely and kind words about Georges.
