I was looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat near Grace Church in Norwood, and google maps pointed out the Take Away. I was in the mood for fried haddock, and the Take Away completely satisfied my craving. As most mom and pop restaurants operate on a cash only basis, I used their convenient ATM. While I waited for my fish, I watched the clientele greeted warmly by the owners. The menu is quite varied, and it will take me several trips to sample all of the deliciousness that they provide. Iâll be back next week to try the lobster roll.

Welcome to Jake n JOES Sports Grille in Norwood, located on Route One on the âAuto Mile"! Voted NBC10âs Boston's Best Sports Bar! We proudly serve a classic American Pub menu featuring Wings, Burgers, Seafood, Mac n Cheese, Appetizers and Featured Special
Usually enjoy the food and drink at Jake and Joeâs but the chef and Barb must have had an off night. I ordered a Sangria, which they usually have 3 kind, but weâre missing key ingredients, no Sangria. We ordered an appetizer to come out first, but our meals arrived first. Cancelled the appetizer and went directly to our meals. I ordered the steak salad which normally is abundant and well put together. It was pretty anemic and the steak tips were more like strips. My husband had the Mac and cheese which was okay. The manager and wait staff tried to make up for the less than stellar meal and drink experience by offering complimentary dessert which was appreciated. Everyone has an off night, weâll give it a try again and see if they correct the gaps in offerings.

We came here with a large group for hibachi and sushi and had a really positive experience. Hibachi menu was pretty broad and everyone enjoyed their dinners. Prices were reasonable with big portions. Well prepared and good hibachi chef. The sushi was quite good -- better than I had thought it would be. Nice diversity of roll choices, and good sized rolls. Better than Takara or Gourmet Garden in Canton. Did take out last week and enjoyed that also. We will be going back.

Went there last week with some girlfriends. coconut shrimp app wasn't the greatest...but the crab cake combo plate was delicious. I should have gotten the one with two. All crab, no filling!!!! The accompanying salad was delicious too. Friends enjoyed their meals as well. Only reason I didn't give Excellent rating is our server wasn't very friendly (to be clear, he wasn't not friendly. He just seemed like we were putting him out). Will deal with the parking issues at Legacy Place in order to enjoy the crab cakes again!
