I wandered in during market day. I ordered a Caesar salad and coffee. Given how busy the place was, I was served sooner than expected by a friendly staff person. I enjoyed listening to the kitchen staff singing and joking around as they worked hard to get the meals ready. The salad was above average, the coffee good, the atmosphere congenial, and the help friendly and efficient.

I trusted the TripAdvisor comments and went there with my wife. It was fabulous! We took the 5 services surprise menu with wine pairing. A little bit pricey but definitely worth it. We will go back for sure! The place is top as well (old Dutch style farm).

Whilst having heard about this restaurant before we had never made it to a visit. Our first experience was quite nice. One wouldn't expect a top restaurant at this location but after entering the perception quickly changes: a friendly welcome and an elegant interior. Courses were accompanied by amuses and a pre-dessert which was a nice surprise. Not cheap for fine dining but we had the advantage of a special offer .

Decent carte (mainly fish) well prepared fresh products served by attentioned staff. Small room = must reserve if you wish to eat there. Price a little too expensive but all in all no complaints

Went here for lunch with my wife. Because it was a special, the menu was fixed. But they called the night before to ask about dietary restrictions. Friendly welcome. Nice interior and atmosphere. Started with 5 appertizers, followed by an intricate entree. The main course with pork was awesome. And the two desserts a great ending.

I have tried several take-away services of Greek restaurants in the area but no-one is at the level of Olympia in Nootdorp. I personally love the gyros special but also the rest of the food. Portions are big and tasty.I have been also for dinner and again very satisfied.

My wife and I had dinner their 5 or 6 days ago and we both very much enjoyed the food and ambiance of this Michelin "knife" rated restaurant in Delft. In my opinion as good as some one Michelin star restaurants.Delft is a hidden gem of a town, and a must stay for at least 2 nights if you are in the Netherlands. Delft is a very old town with a couple of large churches and a large European style "square" full of cafes and places to relax and enjoy a beer or wine. It very much feels like being in France and feels very different to Amsterdam. We stayed at the Flying Fox Inn, the birth place of the famous Dutch painter, Vermeer. Also very good and well situated in the hart of this old city. Most of the cafe's and restaurants in the old part of Delft are around the main square or one of the smaller squares. Not so for this Michelin knife restaurant, it is tucked away in a corner and you have to go find it.It is well worth the find. We lucked out arriving at 7.00 pm to a full house without a booking and scored the last table. It was a Monday night, so a busy place and I would advise to book ahead. The menu is European style in which you can choose 3, 4 and I think 5 courses, basically a degustation type menu. You can also add matching wines, which is what we did. All the food is fresh and local from their district. They have a good wine list.Great food, great service, and a fair price, dinner will not break the bank.Tip: Go for a walk from your hotel and find this place well before you booking. Then no problem at night in the dark heading direct to your dinner reservation.Highly recommended.Thank you so much for you realy lovely review! It motivate our team, we realy appreciate.See you next time! When you stay in the Netherlands. With many kind regards,Team restaurant van der Dussen

Where to start? OK, the people!!! Outstanding service! Warm, professional team is so on top of their game that star restaurants could learn from them - concentrated, coordinated delivery of an incredible experience that is above and beyond - calming and friendly! The food is superlative in every way - fresh and exotic components in creative combinations that are delicious and yet accessible (without being pretentious or needlessly complex). The presentations were consistently beautiful, accommodated allergies by adding rather than deleting ingredients and were all caringly explained (not the usual robotic citations). We were so glad we took the surprise menu as it was surprisingly wonderful, course by course throughout the evening, not to mention the many thrilling and refreshing amuses in between. The Greek influence is apparent across dishes but is very subtle, leaving space for a fusion experience par excellence!

The restaurant is in a narrow shopping street, in a well maintained and nicely lighted spacious vintage house. Parking is usually not a problem. Furniture is comfortable, also after a long sit. The enthusiasm of the staff and chef is off the scale. There is no printed menu I am aware of. The chef takes orders and folds diet restrictions into what he has in mind. I have not seen a wine chart. All wines I have had were non-french, a startling exclusion that may be explained by the large role set for the wine supplier, because the sommelier knows her business. Consequently, there is room for improvement, though I should mention that the marriage of the Italian orange wine was original, creative and a huge success, not deserving my misgivings before I tasted the wine. The meal was simply amazing. Every dish was exquisitely presented and well composed. Courses are small, but largely sufficient taken together. The signature bisque was a delight by itself, but IMO the main dish was even better: a symphony of onion preparations with delightful slices of meat, that allowed a number of onion-meat combinations with subtle or not so subtle taste differences. We were there on the last day the jubilee menu was offered. This must be one of the best restaurants in the country. Go there before Michelin discovers it at last. ;-)
