We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Barrenjoey House with the family. We found the food, staff and ambience to be excellent. We shared a few entrees to start & the lobster pizza bread was absolutely delicious. Our mains consisted mostly of the tuna spaghetti which had been recommended by friends & the local fish & chips. All were extremely tasty. The best aspect of the restaurant is the gorgeous decor with its coastal furnishings & pretty lampshades. We found the staff to be extremely friendly attentive and helpful.
My husband and I were staying on Collaroy & were trying to find a takeaway for dinner - something that we'd both enjoy. We decided upon Ocean View Gourmet Takeaway because I felt like pizza, but my husband felt like ribs & wings. We ordered through Menulog (and paid through PayPal) and requested that the food be delivered at 7pm - it arrived right on time, and was nice & hot. My husband absolutely loved the ribs & wings, and my pizza was delicious. It was very easy to order and we were extremely happy with the service. If we were ever in the area again we'd come back for sure.
Motorino seemed to be the only place in Newport to get great pizza ... until last Friday night's order from Dough! The pizza were excellent and tasty. They say an hour to delivery... its delivered before the hour is up! Please keep up the great work! We will be back!

Blue Pearl Bayview Thai Waterfront Restaurant was established in Bayview on the 2nd October, 2000 - The year of the great Sydney Olympics. We were known as Green Pearl Bayview Thai Sea-Grill and have since changed the name to the Blue Pearl Bayview Thai W
I went to eat there and no idea how it would be....have lived in Thailand and eaten much thai food....only to find this little pearl by the bay in Bayview and also the decor is a sight with open large open windows looking up through Pittwater...simply delightful and relaxing must say and BYO. Food was a delicious taste and one to remember....one for the list of places for those who enjoy taste sensations. Waiters and waitresses also delightful.

After a big day at the beach we were starving and thought we'd try out a local fish shop. We ordered grilled salmon (TINY portion) and salad, grilled flathead and chips and battered flathead and chips. Both grilled fish were really overcooked. Very dry and unpleasant to eat The battered flathead had a huge volume of batter - the fish was lost in the Batter. The chips were thick cut - not a problem but very oily and soggy There was a token tasteless spoonful of coleslaw with the chip dishes. To top it off, they were expensive. None were less than $20. Seriously for a beach side fish and chip shop, this place could and should do a whole lot better. Maybe we were unlucky with the staff on duty that day, but I can confirm we won't be returning to try again.

Four adults for lunch mid week.Outside bistro almost empty of diners, however the staff were quite attentive.Ordering of meals easy and efficient. All ordered the beef burger with chips. Fresh and tasty. One non member price $22.00 per serve.I think that this yacht club would be very busy on summer weekends as there is a pool and playground for children. Outdoor area really lovely with either overhead roofing or umbrellas.

Found the service to be efficient and friendly backed up by very good food at reasonable prices. Can get very busy so suggest a reservation on Friday/ Saturday nights.

Perhaps the only feature that can divert your attention from the stunning view at Jonahâs is the food. The multi award-winning Hatted Restaurant offers excellent Contemporary Australian cuisine and an exceptional wine list offering more than 1600 wines fr
Fabulous location, beautiful premises, excellent and friendly service, very good food. This place almost has it all, and worth the price under any circumstance. We requested and received a corner window table, service was punctual, attentive, and very friendly without being intrusive - perfect balance which is so difficult to find these days when oneâs plate is aggressively whisked away at a momentâs pause in prandial activity. We chose and highly recommend the wine pairing with 3-course meal - perfect wine choices from across 3 continents. Food was delicate and tasty, falling just short of outstanding. Sauces with the John Dory and the Angus beef mains were pleasant, but not exactly to my taste. Entrees -fresh oysters and king prawns were quite good. Desserts - wow! the best tarte tatin ever, with a beautiful caramelised crust. Recommendation on the beautiful bread rolls - more of them please!! No need to be cautious at putting more than 1 per person on the table when theyâre as good as that.Overall, an exquisite experience. Looking forward already to the next time.

Set on the stunning shores of Pittwater, The Newport is a vibrant gathering place for all ages. Nestled amongst idyllic gardens, and incorporating various outdoor dining spaces and bars, the sprawling grounds include areas perfect for whiling the day and
Whilst itâs a lovely outlook, if you can sit near the water to capture the view, the food is ordinary and zero variety. We ordered a Gambero pizza - prawns which consisted of 1 prawn per slice - for $26 I would honestly expect more than than 1 prawn/per slice with a few chillies here and there and then whacked with a Sunday 10% surcharge. Adding share plates or grazing plates to their menu would be great - I just found it underwhelming and these days you can find better pub/restaurant food on the northern beaches that have a similar outdoor area with far superior food on offer.

A great lunch deal with two courses and a glass of wine included if you book. Good choices, lovely view of the lake and very good service although it did take a while to take our order. If you sit close to the window, it may be warm. They do have shade blinds. We wished we sat inside because we were close to another couple. She had a very loud voice and did not make any positive conversation. A bit draining.Wish we had asked to move inside where there was airconditioning and only a few people. Beyond the control of the restaurant but the tables are quite close! We will still be back. That berry panacotta dessert was so good!
