We ate dinner three times while in town. First two experience for wonderful. We had sea food, was fresh, served fast. Bread was fresh, drinks cold and fast. Third time we ordered the prime rib on the waitress recommendation. The meat was very fatty and did not have much taste.

Award winning fine dining restaurant serving fresh local seafood, Certified Angus Beef, Lamb, Duck and much more. Nothing frozen and always made to order. Located in the 118 year old BELL-PHILLIPS home.
Small quaint old house setting in Morehead. Definitely not a tourist trap and exceptional service and food quality. Mostly daily special and small menus with great selection. Love the cozy feel of this house with limited seating which makes for special attention to service. Reservation required and worth it! Butch is on time and waited on us each visit as well as took our reservation when we called. We will be back to keep trying the specialty items!

The steaks were amazing. They were seasoned perfectly and cooked the same way. Wings were outstanding. The only thing that wasnât perfect was the service and desert. Things were moving a little slow for our table - which is how we ended up with desert (strawberry cobbler, I felt could have used more strawberry, and my husband thought sat in the back too long because the ice cream was totally melted on it when it came out). Otherwise great meal, menu is small but thatâs ok because everything we had was excellent.

For good eastern southern fried seafood, you cannot beat this place. Great service and it is fast. Reservations not accepted but they do take out,. Shrimp burger is my favorite along with their hush puppies

At Snapperz we serve local seafood in season from oysters, clams, shrimp, fish and more. We also serve Certified Angus steaks and burgers, try out the "Burger Bar" and pile your burger high with all the fixins of your choice. We carry a great selection of
My husband and I ate there last night and the service was good. We really liked our server, Tania, who was nice and friendly. We started with the seafood bisque, which didnât disappoint. Then I ordered the shrimp & grits, one of my faves, and my husband ordered the Snapperz Combo. He liked his but after tasting mine, he wished heâd ordered the shrimp & grits. It was delicious and so much food I had to take half of it with us. Definitely recommend!

Went for dinner on Saturday night. It was early so the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. Love the live music by saxophonist. They also have a piano and sometimes have live pianist.Bread basket appears to homemade. Buttered with parmesean sprinkled on top. Ordered filet mignon medium well temperature, came with 3 red potatoes. Not sure if it also came with a green, but wanted salad and charged $5 for a house salad. Steak was cooked medium well, seasoned and tender. $30 plus $5 for salad. Also got shrimp and grits. Plated beautifully in a bowl with bacon. Shrimp cooked to Perfection, grits in a nice firm cake with fresh mushrooms and herbs. An alfredo sauce covers a dish. $20Also got macaroni and cheese small plate. It's homemade with bechamel sauce and melted cheese on top in a skillet. It was okay but I would prefer a little bit of kick like some black pepper or maybe pepper jack cheese. Pasta shape was rigatoni, would prefer actual macaroni. Pasta shapes are smaller than rigatoni and easier to scoop up with a spoon. There's just a flavor layer missing to my palate. $11Two entrees, one small plate, and a soda was $75 including tax.

I wasn't impressed with Crabby Party's. It was just run of the mill heavy batter fried seafood and mediocre sides.

I don't like wraps. What's wrong with home made bread? Wraps are sometimes gummy, not dry as the Lord intended. Any way that's the only way they do steak sandwiches and the description looked so good , that's what I ordered. Can you believe they have 3 kinds of wraps? I chose the whole wheat since I was not sure about tomato bread or whatever. Man, it was just super, like their regular steaks and soups and salads. Best restaurant in town for most foods. Bob Ross

The food is great here unfortunately the energy in the restaurant is off. The hostess is on the night we went was disinterested and even though there were only 3 other couples in the restaurant she went to seat us in the worst seats near the kitchen door. Our waiter seemed to be in a rush to finish his night. We have gone to this restaurants many times over the years and this time will be our last.We are so sorry to hear that! We would love the opportunity to address your concerns directly and learn more about your visit to ensure our staff has the information needed to improve- please contact us directly at [email protected]. We do feel this is very unusual and not the norm, so we would love the opportunity to earn you back as a valued patron and ensure your concerns are addressed. Thank you for your time and feedback.

This is mostly bar food-- appetizers, sandwiches, burgers. There are some seafood choices but there are lots of excellent seafood restaurants in this area. Nothing truly exceptional and a tad pricey. I'm not sure but what the food is secondary even though friends swear the lady who owns it is a fabulous cook. Looks like a local crowd gathers there to drink and play pool more than anything else. The service seems up to par with similar places in the area. Although I wouldn't refuse to go there if friends wanted to go again, it wouldn't be my first choice if I were making the decision.I'm truly heartbroken that you did not enjoy the food and found it "pricey." We pride ourselves on providing fresh, local favorites at reasonable prices. We've compared our offerings to other establishments of a similar nature and found our prices to be very much in line with comparable items. We also offer some seafood items that we are very proud of, such as our crab cakes and steamed blue crabs when they are in season. Our shrimp are lightly, hand breaded and we've been told that our baskets are second to none.Yes, we have lots of locals who enjoy spending time here playing pool and darts as well as watching their favorite teams play. We are a small community eatery and our regular customers are like family to us.
