Excellent food quality, outstanding wine chart, service always up to the situation.Quantities, despite some negative previous reviews I'd read on TA, are according to me and my After our first dinner we replicated the very next day.Average price for 2 courses (Antipasto + First or Second main course) including beverages: around 50 Euro. Which is in my opinion quite fair.

This is really a fish shop where you order from a small serving area pretty much whatever fish you want cooked either in batter or grilled in butter with either vegetables or salad. You then are given a ticket and find a table at the back or upstairs in a somewhat slightly old fashioned seating area where your number is called and fish as well cooked and as fresh as you'll find anywhere in the world is delivered to your table. All in all, a great lunch or tea stop (they close at about 18:00) and reasonable prices considering it is as near as it is to the Minster - most courses are just under â¬10.

Close to our home the Meta, previously called Basil's, is a place that we enjoy to visit for fresh fish. Typically you get best value when opting for individual fishes for each one of you. In the summer one can also fine outside in the street. Watch out though to pick a table in the Büchsengasse rather than the Platzgasse because for the latter you have to put up with the football watching louts from the neighbouring bar. Overall a recommendable place.

I am really glad we found this place. The Pizza was amazing, but the fish with Polenta was outstanding. Not to talk About the delicious mousse au chocolat and cappuccino we had for dessert. The interior is very agreable, the staff friendly and helpful.

Ate here one night on a business trip. Parking is a bit of challenge so I parked at civic center building and walked about 5 minutes. They offered a variety of options on the menu. Good ambiance and excellent service. I ordered the grilled dorado and it was very good served with a salad and side dish of vegetables. Good value for about twenty euros.

I was in Ulm on business recently and revisited my favorite restaurant there, Zur Forelle, with a colleague from work. It was a February weeknight, and not crowded, but I got reservations just in case. I always enjoy the poached trout, but this time tried the trout "nach Ulmer Art," or according to the local Ulm style. It was nicely fried, thin breading on the outside, hot and tender inside, with almond butter and parsley potatoes on the side. Excellent, with a local dry wine. And to top it off, a superb roasted plum dessert with walnut ice cream. I haven't been there for a couple years, but it is still as excellent as I recall.
