Lindo lugar, amplio y confortable, carta variada y buena atención, los platos bien, los precios razonables, lo que no me gusta que te cobran cubierto $ 20 por persona.

I took my parents to Taberna Española as a treat when they came for a visit to Necochea. The restaurant serves traditional Spanish dishes with an emphasis on fish, although the menu is fairly extensive and includes pastas, beef, chicken, etc. With that said, the fish dishes are fairly expensive, most in the $50-$70 peso range. We were given a complimentary cocktail on arrival that was quite good. Overall we enjoyed the dishes we ordered (2 beef dishes and 1 chicken), but I didn't consider the meal to be a very good value (pricey for what we ate). The service was efficient, but it wouldn't have hurt the waitress to crack a smile. The worst aspect of our dining experience was the fact that the restaurant's bathroom was obviously suffering from some sort of major plumbing problem. At first there was an overwhelming odor of excrement in the dining room, followed by bleach and lots and lots of air freshener. The odor was very off-putting and I actually thought about suggesting we leave at one point. Surely it was a temporary problem, but it definitely tinged my enjoyment of the meal.

Very nicely decorated, it really seems to be in a Spanish tavern! Great tapas of seafood, singly recommended the calamari and shrimps. Service was also nice sand professional

I have eaten three times at Sotavento: once for coffee and dessert and twice for dinner. Overall the quality of the food and the portions are quite good. We did order cornalitos once that weren't that great, and the rabas at another meal weren't the best (apparently we don't have luck with seafood there). The pasta and steak dishes that we ordered were all very tasty and enjoyable as were the desserts. The location is wonderful - right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. The service has also been good when we've gone. I like this restaurant, and I will continue to dine there.

Three years ago, I discovered Necochea as my summer vacation spot, and there , I discovered Don Atilio. The experience was so great that I have repeated it every year. My wife loved their pastas and sea food ; I tried their bife de chorizo [super steak} and could not stop ordering it for all my daily meals. The service was always great and prices were very reasonable . Don Atilio visits every table to see that the service is to your taste. The waiting lines were often long, but they moved very rapidly; so over all it was an experience worth repeating every chance you can

Traditional Restaurant in Necochea. Since 1964 we are well known for our complete menu where we can highlight sea food, meats and pasta. Always making focus on the quality of our dishes; friendly and personalized customer service.
I dined at Mi Cantina recently with members of a group I belong to. We ate in the private dining room. While the food was certainly decent, I'm not in any hurry to go back. Portions were a good size but flavor was just OK. The service was efficient. The room/atmosphere was blah. There are better restaurants in Necochea...
