This was a recommendation by ouf hotel receptionist. We took lunch with our two kids. The kids share the pork chops and polished them off apart from the onions on top!My husband took seabream which he told me was delicious. I had the BBQ squid which was tasty but a little burned at the tentacles and chewy. I guess is is the nature of squid.Service was good, the waiter friendly and spoke good English. We had to wait a bit for our food probably not abnormal for lunch at taverns. In all, we enjoyed our lunch.

Although just off the main road going to the marginal, this restaurant is not to be missed. The starters were delicious. The fish soup, which was piping hot, was very tasty, but for my husband and myself the pièce de résistance was the shellfish Cataplano. It was the best we have ever tasted, more than enough for two people. We prefer to drink red wine, and Sergio assisted us with our choice which we enjoyed drinking. The restaurant itself, though not big, is very tastefully decorated.

Weâve been there for lunch. Have to wait around 30-45 minuets, but itâs normal for good quality restaurant. Looks like most of people there are local. Weâve ordered sardines, soup, salad and white wine. We got 5 pcs of fish with boiled potato and mix salad. Itâs way enough for 2 people. Starter includes breads (amazing yellow color cord bread) small cheese, butter, pate and plate of fresh boiled shrimps. Starter offers to everyone and coasts around 10 euro. Total Price was very reasonable. Stuff works well and taste is very good. Recommend for lunch and dinner. Suitable for big family with kids.

This place was recommended to us by our Airbnb hostess. Oh my God we love this place located in a square near the funicular. It is not fancy at all... quite simple... only a very few things on menu. You come here for the shellfish! Clams, Muscles, cockel. We ordered the black clams bathed in garlic, lemon and butter.. with a basket of warm, massive, bread rolls to dunk into the sauce. Honestly, One of our absolute most favorite meals in or three weeks traveling throughout Portugal

Two spicy chefs
Great looking venue in a beautiful setting for anytime of day (best book or go at off peak times as busy busy place). Well designed menu, food impeccably presented and taste to match. Service even better considering how many tables each of the two servers had to look after & he even made time to give our baby a cuddle & make us all smile! Another reason to return to Nazare!!!

The service, the owner and the food were amazing in this little Taverna. We fell in love with this family run restaurant. The fish was very tasty and if you are there, the deserts are a must-eat!

This is a decent, average restaurant catering to masses of tourists. Nothing really wrong., but not much to rave about. We had three fabulous mixed salads, a steal at 2.5 euros each. One very well done hamburger, one plate of clams, and one âhot saladâ ( six or seven clams and six or seven very good shrimp in a soy sauce. One had chicken breasts that were tasty but too much to eat. One bottle of full bodied reserve white wine. I also had fish soup that did not taste of fish â rather bland, which is typical of Portuguese soups. Nice waiters, but not the type to engage customers. Overall: not at all bad, but nothing to write home about. Average across the board.

After reading reviews we knew we had to eat here and we were not disappointed. We got there early, just before 7pm which meant we could choose where to sit, it got busy quickly and when we left there was a queue! We chose a fish to share, it was cooked quickly and perfectly. The waiter expertly removed the bones, whilst telling us about the fish - the different flavours and textures of different parts. Absolutely delicious! The only thing to note, is that they only take cash!Sr thomastravelsworldFicámos muito felizes que tenham gostado do nosso espaço foi um gosto tê-los conhecido.
