Traditional Neapolitan fishmonger that thanks to the passion and love for cooking, transforms its business into an atypical fish restaurant. The quality of the products, the skill in the preparation and the low price, make that the PESCHERIA LO SQUALO tod
This fishmonger turns into an evening restaurant only three days a week. There is a menu however they have many different specials according to the catch of the day. For example I had "Paccheri" pasta with pecorino cheese and mussles which were delicious. The fish is all really fresh and at a very good price. The service is really good and helpful for example they made changes to the pasta sauce according to our taste.I would definitely recommend it, just check in advance when it is open as a restaurant.

This place deserves its high ranking. Exquisite fish and seafood imaginatively prepared and beautifully presented. Friendly and welcoming service. Donât expect huge portions but for us it was a pleasant change to have small plates of delicious food. The best meal of our two week road trip around Puglia and Campania.

"THE HOUSE HEATER - The Dad's Trattoria in Naples is an exciting place. The small size and the warm atmosphere keep the great love with which young chef Giovanni and his family prepare and serve simple and innovative, traditional dishes Refined. A small r
This place is a true experience. We drove past at 5.30PM and it looked closed. We called and they told us to come - and opened for us. There was washing hanging from the ceiling, no English menus and a little messy.. But the food was excellent and the welcome was so lovely. We had calamari starter followed by gnochi, pasta cabonara, grilled seafood and clam linguini. it was all delicious. The deserts were very good too. The chef was very accommodating and friendly. Great for a family meal. Good value. We would definitely return.

Since its opening, this restaurant has become a favorite, when we had enough of pizza and frittata. The service is cordial, prices at medium level and home delivery is efficient and timely. Strongly advised.

Loved this little place with only 8-10 tables. Decided to go on a busy Friday night knowing there would be a wait. After putting our name on a list we were treated to a complimentary glass of white wine. The owner was everywhere helping out and was fun to watch. He was very nice and spoke English well. We had the fried Bacala and Gnocchi Vincenzo. Their tomato sauce is very good and seems to have some cream in it. Very good. Being a small place I was surprised to see three cooks in the open kitchen and just one waitress but they did a fabulous job. Restrooms were downstairs and very clean.

Rustic and filling. Simple and fresh food without any frills. Lovely swordfish, prawns and octopus. Good eggplant and courgettes. White wine from Campania was lovely, red was heavy. Had to send back one dead bottle. The bubbly starter was flat.Good ambience on Chiaia street.

Anonymous Trattoria Gourmet is a small restaurant located in the heart of Naples where you can enjoy typical Neapolitan cuisine in a family atmosphere.
A group of us ate here, very nice food, reasonably priced, and it was located close to our B&B. There were outside tables, but our group had a table upstairs inside, it's a quirky shape with a narrow stairway , a birthday was going on which did make it slightly noisy. The waiters were attentive, and the food served promptly. All in all a good experience, and I would certainly recommend it and would return if the opportunity arose.

When you enter the restaurant, you first see a deli stocked with the best cheeses and charcuterie, on the walls are boxes of dried pasta, sauces, jars of tuna, olives, and tomatoes. Walk further in are 2 dining rooms.Had a wonderful greeting from the owner. Menus printed in English with full descriptions.I've always wanted to try the jar tuna soaked in olive oil, so, had the tuna salad that were big pieces of tuna on top of marinated artichokes. Delicious and full of different textures. Had a special caramelized onion sauce that was cooked for hours, no meat, served on pasta, this was so different, sweet, soft texture, and was very good. Also had a stewed beef, like a pot roast, where the meat was first used to flavor a sauce, then the meat is used for the next course; this was so tender and flavorful. Excellent service.

As for me this is a strange place from the very beginning. All YOU CAN EAT formula is available only on particular days at particular hours and can be booked through FACEBOOK only. Space wise the table we were put at (right by the kitchen) was really small = hard to come in and out even if you are not tall. Sashimi (raw fish) can be ordered twice by each person so as tartars. And that is really ANNOYING! Most of the items on the menu include fried stuff which personally I donât fancy at all. I am an experienced sushi eater and this place is NOT for me. Sorry canât rate this restaurant even as âvery goodâ. Was just OK! The fact that you MUST eat your dinner during some window hours is rather inconvenient. Sounds like âpound ur food down and get the heck out of hereâ! Do NOT recommend.
