This family restaurant is one of a kind!!! The cuisine is authentically Greek , with fresh sea food but also home-cooked traditional dishes -like spinach pie or frikase (lamp with greens) ! The Mykonian salad with fresh tomatoes and local white cheese was so tasty !!! Katerina who welcomed us really makes you feel at home and her wine suggestion was exactly what we were looking for ! A warm cozy friendly family environment for dinner only !!! The quality of the good is beyond comparison for authentic Greek flavors !!!

The food there is definitely a cut above most average Mykonos restaurants. On an island where few restaurants offer any interesting vegan options, Sale e Pepe offered a hand made Zucchini Strozzapreti (9) made without shrimps which, whilst not the cheapest, was absolutely delicious. They also had a vegan pizza with a generous amount of vegetables & greenery on top. There was also the usual pasta with tomato sauce which we didnât try. Service was also very helpful in determining the best option to choose.Would return

Waterfront restaurant specialiZing in Greek Meze; the fine art of sharing the variety of flavours that is our local cuisine. Best accompanied by ouzo or tsipouro, but also with wine and beer. Proud suppliers of Mykonian bottled wines and local craft beers

After 37 years serving the best cocktails in Mykonos town.Kastro's now changed to an amazing restaurant with Greek and Mediterranean influences.
We booked Kastro's for 6:30pm as you can't reserve specific tables and we wanted a good one! We managed to get the last over the water balcony table and this really made our experience outstanding. The food, wine, service was all amazing and we had an unobstructed view of the sunset. I cannot recommend enough getting there early and really making the most of your night by securing one of these tables! One rude lady came onto our balcony without asking whilst we were eating to take a picture..however we had the best view (but it would have been nice to have asked to join our table for the picture!) Such an incredible night and highly recommended.

Seaside Hellenic Restaurant. Local Fish And Seafood.
We were three couples who each ordered a different meal. All of the meals ranged from mediocre to average. The prices demanded outstanding. On of group ordered kebab. All other meals were delivered within an acceptable period of time. The kebab order did not arrive until all the rest of us had finished our meals. But it was not her whole meal which arrived but just the vegetable portion. It was refused until the meat could accompany it. The whole meal did eventually arrive but the vegetable portion was no longer hot. Then, to top it off, it was one of the meals which was mediocre.During the wait for the kebob meal, we enquired of the staff when the meal would be delivered and each time we were advised either that it would be a couple of minutes or it was on its way. Neither was accurate. On at least two of those occasions the owner was present and he made no attempt to involve himself.Later, when I presented myself to pay the bill, the owner apologized and accorded the delay to the first serving of meat had been burned and its replacement had to be cooked. He had no explanation as to why he hadn't so advised us when we were asking when the meal would be served. Even if the poor service is a "one off" the quality of the food and the inattention of the owner says: go to McDonalds.Even though it has been a month since we arrived back home, I am still galled over the whole experience and the "I don't give a damn" of the owner.Dear Sir,Thank you for your revue.I am the owner, the tall waiter, and I am sure that we never said to you the expression "go to Mac Donald's " .About the event of the burger, yes it was overcooked the first time, therefore we did not served it.We apologized, we did not charge fro this dish, we offered desserts and digestives to all the group of six persons. It is not a personal natter, we respect all our guests, and for sure those words cannot come out of our mouth. I am 56 years old and I have never been in a Mac Donald, I don't know how and what they serve, I don't allow my children to visit those places too. I wish all the best to you and to your friends, and I want you to be sure that this delay of 10 minutes, was the best possible choice we had. I wish that it did not happened, but it did. My choices were to delay and destroy the meal of 6 persons, or to serve an overcooked burger, or to serve 5 persons and one with delay. We choose the third solution.Best regards,

We are a family of 3, visited the restaurant for my Bday celebration August 2019. I really wanted to like this place and have a memorable bday as this restaurant looked promising. The atmosphere is amazing, great ambiance and beautiful views of the city and the water. The server tried his best to accommodate us and was very polite. Although not even once we were asked if we needed more drinks or anything else. We were asked however how the food is tasting after we got our appetizers. Now the most important, food. We ordered a few things off the menu. The Greek Salad was fresh and crispy. The Urchin was fresh, my husband said that was the best dish ordered that night. Octopus however was a disappointment, rubbery and hard to chew, not recommend it. Same with fish, disappointment, we picked red snapper from the display and it was grilled. The fish was blend and did not taste like anything. I wish we ordered something else! Although the grilled veggies that came with fish were tasty. The desert was excellent, I think that was the highlight of the night for me. I would not come back to this place, nor would I recommend it.
