My husband wanted to take me out for supper and he decided to come here. Itâs not much to look at, but it was clean and the staff was friendly. The name is very deceiving. The Keg serves Louisiana Creole/Cajun dishes. They sounded good but I just donât like spicy food. I ended up having steak which was excellent. The service was almost to good because I had my steak for I was done with my appetizer and salad. They serve wine from a regional winery, Purple Toad, which is great. I donât know if I will come back or not. However, it has nothing to do with the quality of the food, it just isnât my taste. If you enjoy Louisiana style food, you need to check this restaurant out.

We had not been to The Crossroads since they moved from Hardin Ky. to Murray Ky. There are so many Restaurant options in Murray, we waited a year before visiting the new Crossroads. It's a big metal building with lots of room. Some of the same servers and cooks are here from the old restaurant and just as friendly as ever. And the food is every bit as good as previously. That is why this place has such a following. Of course they are known for the fried catfish, but the menu has a variety of options and we tried several between the 7 of us. I highly recommend The Crossroads. In fact we plan to go back this Friday night for another Family Night Out.

This is a convenient stop right on the main drag. It's right across from the University. As far as fast food fish places go Capt. D's is one of the best. I visited at noon on Sunday and had to fight the church crowd but the line moved along pretty well. The buss girl cleared the tables quickly and helped people find seats. The menu is extensive and everything we had was tasty. The restroom was clean, so what else would you want. Give it a try.
