Situated right by the port side we thought this would be a good choice. The food was tasty but not how I would have liked it. My sopa de marisco was a it watery and lacking content. My wife's fabas asturianas were good. Her fish in cider was not that good but my fried squid were quite acceptable. Although water and wine are included in the menu my beer was not and they also added my wife's wine to bill as well. Luckily there are lots more restaurants for us to visit.

There are lots of sea food restaurants in the harbour but we had 2 good meals here. The Spanish menu was a bit of a mystery but the charming son of the family restaurant translated it for us and we really enjoyed the squid and fish. The cider was also very popular. This seems to be the main harbour for the local fisherman so the sea food was very fresh.

We eat here quite regularly and are really impressed by the quality of the dishes. Just remember that the dishes are rather opulent, we still tend to overorder. Anything fishy is wonderful, the only downside is that the restaurant often lacks atmosphere, the only other diners being guests in the hotel.

Lovely ambiance and good food. Unfortunately for us angulas were sold out but the salpicon and the turbot were top quality and well prepared. Lovely and popular place.

We had walked passed this place earlier in the day and thought is looked cute so popped in for lunch. It was a stormy and miserable day and initially we were the only people sat in the upstairs restaurant. However, before our starters were out the room was already full. The owner proudly brought up some of the fresh fish that had been caught that day and it did all look spectacular. We had mussels and fresh anchovies to start, I'm not the biggest fan of mussels but they were very good, the anchovies however, were out of this world! It's lovely to see a place run as passionately as Casa Mari, if/when I return to Cudillero I will be popping in again.

My wife and I visited some of this small coastal village on our drive between Paradors based on recommendations from staff in Ribadeo. The village of Cudillero is so picturesque. We picked the Opera for lunch after a quick check on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. Food was very good, service was friendly/excellent. The server (owner) convinced me into trying the local sidra with the self serve table dispenser. A very unique experience. We had a very enjoyable meal. We were lucky to find a table there for lunch because most of the tables were already reserved. Prices are on the high side.

No wonder this place is always packed to the gills! Itâs in the center of the bay in this small, absolutely beautiful town. Surrounded by a handful of competitors, El Remo knows itâs the best, and proves it gallantly. We ordered there starters - garlic shrimp, anchovies (fried), and salad with white asparagus. We were ready to order more, and the waitress smiled and told us that that would probably be enough. How many restaurants do you do you go to where a waitress actually tells you to stop ordering? We really appreciated it, because the portions were large. The bread was excellent. We also had the local cider for which the region is famous, but for us, it didnât really hit the spot.

Not a fancy restaurant, a traditional bar style place but very friendly and helpful staff and the 4 of us each had a different fish dish, all were excellent.
