We tried to visit this restaurant for a meal after knowing that itâs located very close to our hotel. After some searching, we still could not locate the restaurant. We checked with our hotel staff and was told that itâs closed âtemporaryâ. But the last review was done in year 2017! Do take note to avoid disappointment.

This family style restaurant is a gem in Motobu. With only around 10 options on the menu, it is not going for variety. Instead, the chef clearly specializes in one thing, serving very fresh, delicious and masterfully prepared raw fish, in sashimi, sushi or chirashi style. If you are not a fan, they do have a tasty ramen option, or you can fill yourself on tomago (egg), but I would say you are at the wrong place. Each order comes with a bowl of miso soup. The price is very reasonable, almost seems out of place on a street that caters to tourists staying at nearby resorts. Definitely one of the best meals I had in Okinawa.

After the aquarium, we chanced upon this quaint little restaurant while looking for a lunch spot serving Japanese food.It was empty when we entered and started filling up with locals which meant we were unto a good thing. We ordered sashimi, sushi, tempura, sweet & sour fish, fried tofu & fried octopus. Everything was very well done, absolutely delicious. Service was good and fast and there was free flow of water and green tea. A definite place to visit for excellent fresh seafood.

Ordered the cheeseburger but they had a bunch of other stuff including the Okinawan noodle and taco rice. Overall it was delicious and reasonably priced and convenient so five stars.
