My husband and I ate at Treat last night, expecting to have their amazing quiche, our favorite meal there. However, they just introduced a new menu, so my husband ordered the salmon and I ordered the broccoli alfredo. (Note: the yummy quiche is still available for lunch.) I was delighted to see new vegetarian and even vegan options! Our dinners were fabulous! And as always, the gin "garden" mixed drink, my fav, prepared by Giovanni was amazing! Also, we sat outside at the sidewalk seating, enjoying a perfect evening all around. Thanks, Treat!We are so pleased to hear about your lovely experience. Had the âEveryday special.â Popcorn shrimp were very good. One piece of flounder fillet that was okay and one deviled crab that was tasteless cardboard. All was totally not greasy. Came with corn dodgers (hush puppies) probably 10 or more and cole slaw and one side choice. All this was under 11. And the plate was a platter that was piled high. Decent food for non fresh seafood eatery. Quick seating and fast waitress. She brought our drinks and within 2 minutes we had our food. I had already eaten a lot when I thought to take a pic of what was left.

With Long John Silverâs being the benchmark, this was âmehâ at best. Fish and shrimp were both fair. Chicken had too much tastless breadimg and the meat was dried out and rubbery. Tasteless breading, thin vs. generous filets, tiny shrimp. Mac & Cheese was thick and gummy and tastelessâinedible. Salad was dried out and obviously made a long time ago. Clam strips were mostly breading and tough. If we ever eat there, we will get fish and green beans and okra and would likely have felt that combo was decent. Staff was friendly. Dining area was reasonably clean. Both of us wish we had eaten next door at Abeleâs or Arbyâs. Their Corp people need to order identical meals (fish/chicken/shrimp/clams) at their own reataurant and Long John Silverâs and decide for themselves what changes they need to make.

Went to Homer's for the first time. The place was jammig with lots of people. The atmosphere was awesome. Lots of energy and an overall good vibe. The bar staff was super busy but attentive to the customers. We had drinks and a "bar food" dinner. The food was really good. I had the nachos and my husband had the hotdog and chips. The menu is a bit limited but for bar food it was good. The down side is that the drink prices are a bit stiff for our area. Additionally, the wine selection is thin and the size of the wine pour is a bit short. Most restaurants will give at least a 5 ounce pour but Homer's only provides a 4 ounce pour. I would have had a second glass of wine if the pour had been at least of average for the industry. The place is a good addition to dining choices for our area and I hope they continue to do well.
