The food at this places is almost faultless.Very large portions on the starters, especially the pastas and the really good thing is the unmistakable freshly made pasta.Will definitely go back. :-)

Despite it being a Thursday night in July there weren't many other people in the restaurant, which is crazy given the standard of the food and the prices. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu at â¬55 which, given the prices we paid in other restaurants in Siena and other Italian cities, is pretty good value. As for the food, the Tuscan-Asian fusion worked for us and the portion size just right to get us through 7 courses without feeling as though we'd overeaten. Favourite dishes were the amuse-bouche, which perfectly set the scene; shrimp tartar with tartar sauce and saffron-puffed rice; and seared tuna with sesame sauce and seaweed salad. A really friendly place that deserves to be packed every night.Dear Jack, thanks so much for your nice words. We are very pleased to know that you enjoyed your dinner with us! Hidden away above a line of shops you could easily miss it, fortunately we didn't and had two superb meals during our stay for extremely reasonable prices. Charming staff and very popular with local families. The home produced pasta was superb, pizzas good and the large entrecote steak in chianti sauce outstanding.Didn't try the seafood, but it was obviously greatly enjoyed by other diners.At weekends you might need a reservation ( though we came early without one)

The four of us tried their seafood lunch set menu at 50⬠Each and walked away impressed. The crudo was fresh - sea urchin, mussel, clams, whelks, shrimp, and 3-4 kinds of fresh fish. All super fresh and succulent. The spaghetti with clams and cherry tomatoes was fine, not the best we had. But the steamed seafood in a jar was particularly interesting as it was delicious. The bottle of vermentino white wine was lemon, lime crisp and yet round in the mouth. Great value at 10â¬. Definitely will come again

In addition to the good TA reviews, La Veranda was recommended by our hotel. We walked over for a late lunch. Even though it was close to closing, we were seated and received prompt, friendly service. Hubby had a chicken special, a sauteed chicken breast with black salt and pepper. He thought it was quite tasty. I ordered the Friday Fish Special and received a basket of fried calamari and shrimp. It was so yummy. We liked the food so much that we came back the next night for dinner. Even though the place was packed and we had no reservations, they were able to squeeze us in. We ordered a pizza and beer. Great pizza, great service.

Lovely restaurant just on the principal square. 2 floors, with a beautiful wine cellar. Family owned, traditional and very comfortable. Service is fast. I had the best tartare of my whole life! Faraona was stunning as well. Definitely a place to visit if stopping in Colle!

The food is simply amazing. Everything we had tried very delicious and presentation of each dish is fantastic. Portions are small, but after 7 of them (plus 2 more from the chef) you feel more than satisfied. The staff is nice, very knowledgeable, good English. Wine list is super as well, and they have very good wines available from about 100 Euro per bottle, to a few thousands. The night before we had good dinner at Enoteca Pinchiorri, dinner is good as well, but you canât find any bottle of wine cheaper than 300 euro. Over all we enjoyed food at Arnolfo more than at Enoteca Pinchiorri. Very well deserved Michelin stars. We were fortunate to be guests on wedding which took place in ValleChiara. This is absolutely gorgeous place with original Toscan view, but what makes it truly special is the lake. Restaurant is just in front of the water. We have enjoyed this gorgeous night with beautiful sets and stunning food: we have tried so many dishes which are piculiar for Toscany. And great wine of course!

The pizzas are really nice and tasty. Excellent value for money. Staff is friendly but maybe a bit slow with the service. If you are in the Siena area with car and don't want to drive in to the center of Siena, this is a good choice.
