We visited in September for lunch. It is located in a small strip center along a busy street. The decor is pretty bare bones but clean, don't expect anything fancy. Service was quick and attentive. Our party ordered the mixed fried seafood plate, fish tacos, chalupas & a small cerviche. The meals were served with a small bowl of garlicky, seafood broth soup, it was very flavorful. The cerviche was very good, seafood tacos tasty, the fried seafood was good and hot but I thought their strength was not in the fried items. I would love to go back and give the shrimp cocktail a try. The ambiance was a bit distracting with a variety of TVs on and music playing (disco/Tejano). One suggestion I would have is to get some larger napkins, it was not fun at all using cocktail sized napkins. Server was friendly, we'll be back!

12/28/18@5:00pm (17:00). This place is a hidden gem in McAllen. The fish and shrimp are fried but they are lightly breaded and taste absolutely amazing!! They are known for their rice and it is very, very good, you will not be disappointed!! The service is phenomenal and the price is fair. This place is very casual, almost has an old fish market air to it. The ONLY downside to this place is, if you are a hearty eater or really hungry, you may leave unsatisfied. This attribute will affect very few but it could be a concern. Check this place out, some of the best seafood for the money in the valley!!
Our group of nine all enjoyed this place and found the food good. The location on the frontage road doesn't lend much ambiance but don't let that dissuade you. The seafood seemed fresh and tasty. The portions were huge. The prices good. As with almost everything in the area, there's a Mexican take on the dishes, but that's not a complaint! The staff was kind. Give it a try.
