If you have the chance to eat at La Ruota you will not regret it. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and the view over Massa is beautiful! A lovely family run business.

The food was excellent, the service superior and attentive, the suggested wine was perfect but the chocolate mouse I had was to die for.We sat outside and, as the restaurant is on a slightly sloping street, it felt a little strange (my dining partner was a little higher than me) but really an excellent choice that I made through TripAdvisor (having had a disastrous experience the night before in Sarzana with pot luck.)A little bit pricey, to be honest - but I'd go back tomorrow if only for the chocolate mouse!

New Management Of A Beautiful Local In The Artisan Area Of Camporgiano, Via Garibaldi (lu). Cooking Of Fish, Earth And Plates Ticipes Beyond A Wonderful Pizzeria. Local Soundproof To Allow You To Spend A Wonderful Evening. Possibility To Organize Personal
Stayed two nights in Camporgiano and had dinner at Davy's on both nights (and breakfast, too).Very friendly, we ate inside on the first night, but the place was full the following evening (we hadn't booked) so we sat at an outside table.Good service, everything we had from the menu was delicious, only slight criticism was the predominance of white in the decor ! Very reasonably priced, too.Equally good service at breakfast, where half the village seemed to call in for a caffé !

Yes, we have been here now many times and it remains a favourite. When we are together we never get further than the anti-pasti because it is soooo much that we don't have space for more food even thought we know that the primo and secondo are delicious too. We love their fresh fish menu because in this area the Italians manly eat meat.

We read the very good comments about this restaurant and went there with lots of enthusiasm. Unfortunately we were not very hungry so we only wanted to order one course per person and wine. This costed the waiter a great deal of discontent. He constantly tried to convince us to order more food which we didn´t want to. As a result, the atmosphere of our dinner was quite unpleasant. We waited for our food a lot and felt quite uncomfortable.

It is well worth the expensive cab ride into the hills above Massa. Il Trillo has a little parking lot, if you are an intrepid driver. Still, I would rather tackle the impressive wine list when someone else is responsible for getting me safely home or to my hotel. We all have our own standards and perspectives. I only rate 5 to 10% of my reviews as excellent and really look for those 1 to 2% of venues that I find to be nearly magical-like this one! Readers of my reviews should know by now that we cherish dining experiences that are truly exceptional and evidence of the pinnacle of culinary talent. One should respect the many chefs who daily turn out solid and well crafted dishes. But as with music and sports, only a few are either true originals or so talented that they can capture a brilliant variation on the tried and true recipes. Of course, a devotion to the very best ingredients, an assembly of a wait staff that cares and performs at a similar high level, and an ambiance and setting that cossets and inspires their guests helps staging the show. Il Trillo has them all in spades. Being able to dine outside under their flowers and lemon trees is splendid and memorable. The entire menu sounded tempting, but my wife and I both chose a lovely pumpkin soup with black truffles, tortellini filled with pears and pecorino cheese in a saffron sauce with pistachios and a masterful duck breast in a sangiovese reduction sauce. We went our separate ways on desserts, but my passion fruit semifreddo and chocolate with a garnish of berries was spectacular. From a local, I understand this restaurant started as a well liked but modest osteria. It appears to have grown in both stature and sophistication without losing the warmth and genuine hospitality that merits success. Perhaps too informal to rate a Michelin Star, the kitchen is performing at a level that deserves one.We are so glad we made the effort to get here. We will be back!

We had a fabulous evening out, we found this local restaurant by coincidence, and what a place. Nice service, tasteful restaurant children went along fine and we had the most tasteful and delicious 3-course meal. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted so good. We can only recommend this restaurant and we will surely come back

A phenomenal typical Italian restaurant that used local and season produce to tantalise our taste buds! All three generations of our family were thoroughly impressed with the astounding food, personal service and friendly, warm approach. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you x
locanda Elena ti aspetta ad Equi Terme in Lunigiana con il suo ristorante e le sue camere per un piacevole momento di tranquillitÃ
The small dining room was v. full w/ the Ferragosto crowd, but other than that all was wonderful. They even had a waitress that was fluent in inglese. It was ~30/head for excellent seafood, drinks and dolci/caffe incl. They do offer carne antipasti, primi, secondi too. I'd go back there anytime, nice value and a lovely presentation.
