We know, because we're from Maine! We live in West TN and we were driving through Mayfield and decided to stop for dinner. WOW the cajun shrimp and the coconut shrimp were outstanding. We rarely stop for seafood anywhere because we grew up where seafood is king. But this place is phenominal. Hushpuppies, cole slaw and fries were all delish. The staff is super friendly. We spoke to the owner, who is there to greet you and to see you off, yet another rarity. We live an hour away, but will be going back. Oh, and it is also CLEAN a big plus for me!Thank you so much for the kind review. We really appreciate it. We really enjoyed having you looking forward to seeing you next time!!

Service was a bit slow, but that could be because they were making it fresh. I can't say this about all Captain D's.Servers come around often to clear your table and they were all friendly.
