The way it's decorated and the amazing staff makes this a great place to come to. The Kottu we had was delicious, especially with the 5 different sauces that are served with it.Others have complained about warm beers, but mine were nicely cold.

I had dinner with my boy friend. Service was awesome & friendly staff. We can choose the seafood from the stand out of the front. The food was fresh, tasty, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We had an amazing dinner. Would definitely recommend seafood here. Must try!

Vegetables come fresh everyday from our own organic garden. Seafood arrives early morning daily from Harbour Mirissa. We offer authentic Sri Lankan rice & curry in buffet style, 7 different curries changing daily. We also serve Kottu & Roti prepared accor
We visited twice during our stay in Mirissa. My family loved the rottis. They were tasty and fresh with great flavour. The curry and fresh fish was also good, The staff were friendly and helpful. On the second night, it was new year in Sri Lanka and many of the staff didnât turn up for work. The food was not up to the same standard but the young waiter and the lady cooking in the kitchen did a great job of trying to feed a full restaurant.

Absolutely yummi meals are served at Chef Akila kitchen. Chef Akila prepares his meals with fresh ingredients only: vegetables, fruit, herbs, fish and chicken etc. If there is i.e. no fresh fish available in town he recommends mouth watering alternatives. Could not find out his secret yet to tickle the many palates of his foreign and local guests: simply fingerlicking good. Best references are his happy guests who keep on coming back to enjoy tasty lunches and dinners inclusive of the breathtaking view overlooking the splendid Weligama Bay. Looking forward to the next flavourful lunch with friends.

Ayubowan!!! Plantation Surf Inn is a Guest House with accommodation and a delicious Restaurant and Cafe in Midigama. It's location is away from the noise of the road and set in a tranquil and beautifully maintained tropical garden. Only a minutes walk fro
Wow what a wonderful welcome and excellent food served in their pretty garden .We went early and the owner made time to sit and talk to us about his business and the terrible tsunami they survived on 2004.This is a great place ...donât miss it ...great food and great price .

Chilled beach side Cafe serving eclectic cuisine featuring the best of home grown produce and refreshing beverage concoctions. Bring a towel and laze in the pool while enjoying vistas of the terquoise blue ocean. Escape. Unwind. Savour.
Waiters arenât helpful or accommodating at all - borderline rude even. Food was average at best despite being relatively more expensive than others. There are far better restaurants in Mirissa for a good meal. The only thing going for this place is the view - beachside with a pool. Would highly recommend finding another spot along Mirissa Beach as there are plenty of great restaurants with good vibes. We firstly would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as per the comments which you have mentioned above. We are very keen in maintaining our high standards and trust kept in our food and service. In order to further evaluate the matter we have personally messaged you.Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

Zephyr Talalla is a Villa and Sri Lankan fusion Restaurant & Bar, located right on the beach in Talalla Bay.
We were blown away on arriving here by the warm welcome from the staff and the impressive setting. It's lovely to be right on the beach and with so few rooms you can really indulge in what it does best here. We found a lovely couple of sunbeds under the trees which felt like a real escape. The place is stunning and feels really special - particularly thanks to all the staff. They also were fantastically accommodating for my mum's gluten intolerance. In fact they were enormously helpful with any ask and arranged a driver to get us to the airport. We made the mistake of eating elsewhere a couple of times - but this is the best food on the beach by a very long way. I'd stick here for the food! The cocktails are equally delicious (try the Mai Tai!). We were very sad to leave and I miss waking up to the sound of the waves breaking. This is a really quiet end of the beach - perfect for watching both sunrise and sunset too! Thank you Zephyr team for sharing your paradise with us :)

There are plenty of seafood restaurants in Mirissa, but at Freshwave, weâve added a little extra to the experience. The restaurant has been designed for happy chaos and lively banter, similar to the hubbub of a seafood market. Frshwaveâs day begins in the
Amazing restaurant right on the beach. My partner and I tried almost everything on the menu and were never disappointed. I particularly loved the mango lassi and the curry was one of the best I've ever had! The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable local knowledge. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The happy hour from 1-10pm was a nice touch too

Mahi Mahi is the best seafood restaurant in Dikwella, Sri Lanka. It's the ideal place to experience fresh seafood for an affordable price. The restaurant is situated on a picturesque and clean sandy beach ideal for chilling, sunbathing and a dip in a sea.
Incredibly bad and slow service! We arrived and were greeted by no one. There was a group of five and us three and it took for ages for us to get the menu. After that it took for nearly an hour for us to get our meals! Waiter didnât seem to understand me who spoke English, so the Sinhalese people in my group had to translate for him. When we asked to order cocktails, the waiter said itâs not possible because he cannot make them - WHAT?! Food was basic and not great in any way. Sweet and sour chicken was just overly fried chicken with tons of pepper - not even any sauce. The location on the beach is wonderful and the restaurant is nice looking and they have great swings on the beach. Wouldnât recommend this place for anyone. Can get better food for the same price (or cheaper) elsewhere.
