Reviews on Seafood food in Marmaris, Mugla Province, Turkey. A gorgeous backdrop of pine-clad mountains looms behind the seaside resort of Marmaris in southwest Turkey. Popular as a cruise ship and yacht port and with the British budget holiday crowd, Marmaris offers an abundance of fast food restaurants, the restored castle of Suleyman the Magnificent and an appealing cobblestoned old quarter. Outside the busy town, coves and bays of the Datça Peninsula make lovely daytrip destinations for those traveling by boat.

We enjoyed the food, but the service was unstructured, and when we came to pay the bill, they could not work out what we had got to eat and drink. As the restaurant is pricy for Turkey, this should be a smooth experience. when we studied thoroughly the bill after we realised that we had paid too much. As there arte so many good options in Marmaris, I will avoid this one in the future

We first found this restaurant last year and were lucky to get a table on the terrace overlooking the harbour so this year we went down earlier in the day to make a booking for the same spot. We all had a mixture of the calamari, garlic prawns and garlic mushrooms all of which were perfect! For main I had fish fillet with a shrimp sauce and wow I was not disappointed. Asked for mine with mash instead of chips and I got a huge pile! Our party also had the prawn casserole, steak and a seafood pasta all of which were great!A fruit platter was served on the house afterwards. The setting is perfect and ideal for a nice quiet meal.

We are a family run restaurant located in the beginning of Marmaris harbor with a wonderful view over the sea. We offer an international cuisine with menus in eight different languages. The seating is perfect for big groups as well as families and couples.
We have just left this restaurant after experiencing the worst meal of our entire holiday. The food was tasteless apart from the overwhelming amount of salt in every dish. The service was poor extremely long time between courses and to top it off the bill was also wrong

We spent 2 weeks in Marmaris and this is by far our favorite restaurant. Everything is done with pride and sophistication. Ferret, the owner is on top of everything and makes sure all patrons feel special. Being Australian we are very fussy with beef, We had the steak for 2 and it was amazing. Other times I had the lamb shank. It was the best I've ever had.

Firstly the good points, this restaurant is in a lovely romantic location and the complimentary Turkish dip was delicious, however the rest of our dining experience was bizarre. I ordered the lemon salmon, on the menu it said it was salmon cooked in white wine, lemon , basil with shrimp served with a medley of Mediterranean vegetables with fried potatoes with cheese what I got was lovely cooked salmon no wine and lemon sauce no shrimps, just a pot of gloopy looking garlic mayo ( I think) a huge bunch of leaves with tiny holes in, a half of a lemon a thick disc of raw onion a tinfoil pot of tepid mashed potato with cheese on and finally my favourite touch one prawn cracker??? Bizarre is the only word that can describe it. My husband ordered the king prawns he got the same crazy accompaniments I got but his prawns were awful and mushy, when the waiter noticed he hadnât ate them he offered to get him another one, when he returned it was exactly the same plate of food and we suspect that they flashed the same prawns under the grill when my husband tasted the ânewâ prawns they were worse than before actually inedible. The waiter did offer to get him a new dish but we declined, As theyâd already had 2 attempts and got it so wrong. The guy on the promenade told us they were 19th on trip advisor so maybe we just had a bad experience but that does not detract from the fact my meal was nothing like I ordered.Hello SoniaWe took over this business a few weeks ago and we want to manage it with a new vision and make it much better.First of all, we apologize for the bad experience, and if you give us an opportunity, we would like to correct this bad experience. We offer you a free dinner at our establishment. For us, the satisfaction of our guests is more valuable than anything else. We will have a single request from you, we will be very happy if you change your comment on tripadvisor by helping us to make our business even better.

We visited as a group of 12 and was extremely impressed by the service & food. We chose here because it did all different types of food and therefore accommodated everybody! I had the garlic prawns to start, fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and chips as a main both amazing! Definitely worth a visit and very decent prices!

Yasemin restaurant is a pleasant surprise. Our friends Revo and Mehmet Ãztürk residents of Bozburun took us there and we loved it.Every dish tasted great however i heartily reccomend the salted uskumru fish, fried calamari and octopus home cooked on a ceramic plate. The worry beads suspended from the ceiling add a mystical touch.Very reasonable prices.heartily recommend the restaurant.Must mention owner Yasemin who is a great host.
