I had dinner at L'Oleandro with my family and it was a perfect experience. All the dishes we had (including vegetarian, meat and fish) were delicious and perfectly cooked - I recommend the tuna steak, the spaghetti allo scoglio and the dessert with fresh melon. We also had some local liquors after dinner, which were really good. The view from the terrace is stunning - make sure to get there before sunset, and I recommend booking a table in advance to secure a the best spots. Prices are in line with what you get in the island, but the quality of food is much better!

We stopped here based on TA reviews - thank you all who proceed me.Lovely spot, relaxed, good music and servizio gentile. Particularly the nice young man who took the time to answer our questions about the area.Very good menu - plenty of choice. We had the cozze and the risotto. Both excellent - good ingredients treated simply and with care. Delicious.Good house white and coffee.Best lunch yet in Elba.

We picked this restaurant specifically because of the Tripadvisor reviews, but sadly we regretted the choice. The service was slow and not great. The chilled seafood appetizer looked impressive, but wasn't. My pasta with clams lacked flavor, but my husbands special of the night, lasagna, was flavorful. The pizzas and risotto looked good, so if went back we'd opt for one of those. Of course the view is stellar!

The owner of our small B&B recommended a day on the beach at Procchio. Since we didn't have a hotel room there, we were pointed to Tahiti. It's an open-air restaurant that rents umbrellas and beach chairs on the beach in front of it. We spent the day lounging around there, getting drinks from the bar to sip seaside. When they opened for dinner, we threw clothes on over our suits and stepped up to a table. The service was great, and we were a largish group so it was not easy for our waiter. We ordered a couple of the seafood sampler antipasti and were glad we did. It came on a big platter and had several different choices based on what was fresh that day. I went on to a grilled branzino that was delicious, while others had octopus, pasta dishes and a variety of other choices, all very much enjoyed.

Had a superb Tagiatelle Vongale here, the service is good, food fantastic and the views over the valley are really good. Staff were friendly and although not much english spoken the waitress with a very good command of english was assigned to our table which made the experience even more pleasant.

the resteraunt is well located and staff is friendly however food that was served was missing taste and the right presentation at the end when the bill came we were suprised, in addition the music played was not matching the ambience and when the owners phone rang it was playing out of the music box... would not recommend the place

Small restaurant (remember to reserve should you want to be on the outside terrace). Inexpensive but good pizzas, good local fish. 1 pizza, 1 appetizer (very good mix of different fish dishes), 1 big (1lb) steak, 2 grilled fishes, 2 desserts, 0.5 l open wine, 2 l mineral water=116⬠which is a tad expensive considering the location.

Trattoria Sciamadda is a small bottega with few tables which lies on the crooked steps of Via del Carmine in the mountain village of Poggio, high above Marciana Marina in the Island of Elba. We enjoyed a late lunch here in what was a quiet and sleepy village in early June. This place had the advantage of paper place mats that explained what everything was on the menu. Great for the non-Italian speaking amongst us. And what a lovely menu it was. Mainly seafood based including tuna, anchovies, sardines and mackerel, but done in a variety of ways that brought drooling lips the more I read. However, I finally settled for papardella with a cinghiale sauce (wild boar) while my friend had the shallow fried anchovie fillets. Good local wine and excellent expresso complimented this wonderful lunch. This place is well worth a visit if you find yourself in the charming village of Poggio.

La Guardiola Snack bar e Tavola calda di Mazzei David
This is such a special place. The food menus is not too large but everything on it is cooked while you wait. Spaghetti or gnocchi with different sauces prepared fresh every day , fish antipasti. I almost donât want to write too good a review incase too many of you go there. The staff are fun and the atmosphere pure beach holiday.
