Being from Buffao, N.Y. we are used to the best quality of chicken fingers, fries, Restaurant type food. This place exceeded our expectations!!! It took us home the chicken fingers are delicious! The fries oh so good. It's a small eatery but well worth the visit! We will be going back for lunch/dinner. The best place we have eaten since we've been to Marblehead and without SPENDING A FORTUNE! The people are so sweet and patient! Thank you for everything and for amazing food! LOOOOOVE! (P.S. I am an extremely picky eater and this place will have me coming back as a happy returning customer! Even my Partner was excited!) The picture should say it all!

We are a local dive bar that secretly has class. Great food, great service all served in a very casual atmosphere with absolutely no pretense. We're a little place with a big heart. The Shanty has been serving the Good People of Salem for 30 years and is a
The best Connecticut style lobster roll I've had anywhere, but I recommend ordering it to go. The wait service was terribly slow. I had to ask for our check twice and then after waiting another ten minutes finally had to go hunt down a member of the wait staff to get it so we could pay and leave.

Seafood Waterfront Casual Dining, Full service Restaurant & Oyster Bar. Featuring Outside Dining, Water Views, Outside Bar, Fresh Seafood & Grilled items.
We sat on the patio, in the sun, with a view of the water. I had the Hot for Teacher and the Old Fashioned cocktails and both were really good. I got the half pound steamed crab with butter. Sooo good! My dad had lobster Mac and we shared apple cobbler. Service was great. Especially when my 2nd Old Fashioned was not good like the 1st one and he took it off the bill.

We stopped by mid-afternoon, so the restaurant wasnât very busy and staff seemed to be taking a break. The location is great along the waterfront, and the menu with a very good selection.Ordering didnât take too long, but receiving our food and ultimately paying the bill took numerous requests to other servers to help us. The food was very good and ample.

Being somewhat selfish, I'm loathe to let you in on the place for the best sushi on the North Shore. Junji is a small, pleasant and unpretentious dining venue -- so, it can get crowded fast, especially on a Friday night -- and, as regulars, we love to get in fast when that sushi craving hits. With the best spicy tuna handrolls around -- due to wonderfully fresh nori, among other qualities -- this Japanese cuisine is a definite "find" for anyone with a predilection for sushi or other Japanese delicacies. The tempura sweet potato fries, soba noodles, and oyakudon (a wonderful comfort food of stewed chicken, onion and rice, "off" the menu) are worthy of any I've sampled in or outside of Japan. Try authentic genmaicha (green tea with toasted rice) for a beverage.Come for rare Jazz ensembles, featuring the dulcet voice of one of the owners, on special Fridays....

It has a jovial spirited atmosphere with great views of Marblehead Harbor. Service is friendly although sometimes harried. You will be happier if you stay with menu items that are fresh and come from local waters like the fish and chips which are very enjoyable. Unlike large crab legs that were not full and were tasteless.

One of the most famous restaurants and bars on the North Shore. Seafood is fresh and delicious, portions are huge, and they have generous pours on cocktails. Make your way to Maddie's and see how the locals on the North Shore do it!

The vibe was just right after yet another grueling experience at the RMV (this time in Danvers). The staff put a smile on our faces as we arrived and briefly conveyed the story; an attitude adjustment was required. Our waiter, Tom, was most accommodating. We enjoyed the "popcorn fish bites" appetizer and the fish tacos. But the lobster roll was the best I've ever had!All the while we loved being seated at water's edge on a delightful sunny day.
