Dominique and Philippe, the owners of the restaurant "The Yellow Lizard Cafe", warmly welcome you to their friendly hotel design is modern and local. The originality of concept consists both in cooking a la plancha, but also in the original presentation s
We all really enjoyed our food which was interesting and tasty, with good vegetarian and gluten free options. The service was really good and so was the selection of drinks. The atmosphere was good too, except for one thing, the TV which was showing promotional videos. It was distracting and not what you'd expect in such an otherwise great restaurant.

A creative and elegant culinary experience The Shell restaurant welcomes you for dinner to a delicious and creative fine dining experience. Come and taste the subtle flavors of the best produces drawn from the land and the ocean, carefully prepared by our
We stayed at the Intercontinental for 5 nights and enjoyed multiple meals (breakfast, lunch and dinners) at the hotel's various restaurants. Each time, we were impressed with the service, as well as the presentation and flavors of each dish! As such, I guess our expectations were high, when we made a reservation for a fine-dining dinner at the Shell Restaurant. Unfortunately, the food just fell short this time...The service, as was typical of our Resort dining experiences throughout our stay, was top notch! The servers were attentive, prompt and always friendly! The restaurant decor was high quality in appearance; close, personal, intimate and romantic in nature. Sadly, the only menu item that met/exceeded expectations was the absolutely delicious shrimp ravioli. The lobster medallions were presented beautifully but just didn't taste quite as good as they looked. The scallops were nothing to brag about and lacked flavor. The tuna filet was the real disappointment, as it was very tough, dry and overcooked. I' hope that the kitchen was maybe just having an "off-night", but we never ate at this particular spot again during our stay, so I can't be certain.Dear Guests,Thanks for sharing your impressions following your meals at The Shell. Rest assured that your comments will enable us to further improve our Restaurant. It is with pleasure that I will pass your compliments at our staff. We sincerely hope to welcome you back one day in our Establishment. With my best regards,

The locals told us about this place, and the food was excellent, and a great value, considering the prices at the regular restaurants.
We got there when they opened on a Tuesday and by the time we finished eating the place was packed. When we arrived they asked if we had a reservation (which we didn't), but I guess it's popular enough that if you're worried about time, you can go that route. Menu isn't very expansive, but everything is tasty, and you can't beat the views. Also, cash only and just park along the edge of the main road.

Arii Vahine Gourmet Restaurant features a stunning panoramic ocean view and offers a perfect combination of Polynesian seafood and international cuisine. Our "a la carte" menu is available every evening, except for the wednesday, day of our barbecue buffe
My wife and I dined here, with 3 family members and friends, for breakfast and dinners. We liked the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was extensive. There was good variety on the menu, with numerous seafood choices, and the prices were generally not too expensive. The food was tasty. The servers were friendly and always had a smile for you. You could eat inside or at the outside area, along the edge of the restaurant. We really liked the BBQ Buffet and Dance Show.

Revisited this restaurant on second trip to Moorea the following year, hosting 12 friends. There was only one other table of 4 people in the place. On the surface, we were thrilled with the setting and thought it was lovely over the water. But things went down from there. It took 20 minutes to get our first drinks...water, and a couple bottles of wine. Another hour goes by and 4 of us were served dinner. Another hour goes by, and 4 more of us received dinner. By the THIRD HOUR, the remaining 4 people were served their dinner. Two of us didnât get the full menu meal (only salad, no main course, no dessert.) By now, were were exhausted, frustrated, and decided to leave. The restaurant charged us full price for our dinner, without apologies or discounts. As a host, I felt embarrassed for having recommending this place and everyone left grumbling. The reason the waiter gave us was that two cooks didnât show up. Unfortunately, we will no longer recommend this as our go-to place on Moorea. Two stars because the location is superb.

We were told about this place by locals and it did not disappoint. It is fine French dining in a very small setting. The owner picked us up from our bungalow. The dining experience was excellent as we watched a beautiful sunset in Cook's Bay and enjoyed seeing the sharks and sting rays swim beside the restaurant. The owner has lit the water and will feed them so they come to hang out. I had the Mahi Mahi plate and it was excellent. My aunt had the ravioli and loved it. Prices start at $33.00 a plate and it was an excellent experience. You need to call ahead for reservations as there are limited tables - 15 I believe. The waiter was wonderful and the food was delicious. The owner's cat will also make appearances. I was excited to see that as she happened to look exactly like my cat. All in all, it was a wonderful experience with the restaurant and I highly recommend it.

My husband and I are fromChicago and consider ourselves faux foodies - we LOVE a good dining experience. This place was so good, we went back - twice! Portions are large, plating has been perfected, and the food was fresh and phenomenal. The wasabi crusted tuna was the best tuna Iâve ever eaten - hands down. We were given several restaurant recommendations and this was easily the most tasty! Also, if you go early, the sunset fixed menu is a ridiculous good deal. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back! It's tough to select a restaurant after a busy, fun-filled day on Moorea! We chose Rudy's based on reviews. Rudy's picked us up from our hotel promptly. The restaurant is intimate and uncomplicated. The staff was SO welcoming and friendly! My husband tried the Parrotfish and it was delicious! I ordered a steak and it was also delicious. We saved room for dessert, lava cake and crepes, and were glad we did. After a delightful meal, the shuttle took us right back to our hotel. A perfect ending to a wonderful Moorea day!
