Valeu a pena.

Tiwan is a small restaurant located out of Macaé's touristic area and frequented by local people. Good and generous meals, reasonable price and friendly staff. The Chef Russo is an awesome guy. For tourists the restaurant location is a bit difficult to be found. On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant is usually too crowded during the lunch time.

The restaurant is a bit more basic than some of the other restaurants on the beach, but having said that it is one of my favourites. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. There is lots to choose from on the menu and the food, which is not going to win any awards for presentation is very tasty. The value for money is also there too.

I've never been let down with the menu selections here. My favorite is the shrimps/camaroes "VG". I was told that the VG meant large shrimp, which these were. The caipirinhas were not the best, but I've had worse. Service was excellent. A bit pricey, two people with a couple of drinks will probably run over Rs300.Indoor and outdoor seating on two levels. The outdoor seating overlooks the beachfront walk which offers a nice view day or night. It is convenient and easy to walk to from most of the beachfront hotels. Parking can be problematic, especially in the evening. I prefer to take a taxi if I'm staying at an off beach hotel.

Once again visit this place and getting more and more surprised. Standard ordering in my case is Caipirinha for starter together with shrimp , octopus and calamari in pan with garlic and olive oil. After that order bottle of bine and seafood risotto. Risotto was very disappointed and price for one person is over 400 reals (with tip) what is around 100â¬. This is for me sign that next time I will visit other place in Macae. Please see bill in pictures.

I went to Lucca at 7pm on a rainy and windswept Sunday evening and sat upstairs along with a work colleague. Whilst it was empty when we entered, it was pretty well occupied by the time we left which created quite a nice atmosphere. Sunday night appears to be pizza night with most people having an endless supply of various pizzas brought to their tables. We started with a mixed platter consisting of shrimps, squid and octopus followed by pizza. The food was certainly fine although not remarkable as was the service. There were a few leaks in the roof and some windows that wouldn't fully close that meant picking the right table was a bit of a lottery. To be fair, I would certainly visit again in better weather as the place clearly has its challenges when it is raining.

It´s a not a fancy restaurant, but it´s a place you can take your family for a fun time and the food is really good and portions are nice. It´s been a while since I have been there, but I always wanted to leave a feedback for them.If you go to Macaé, get someone to take you there.. it´s kind of hard to find!
