Wu has a similar set up to food market restaurants in Bangkok where you chose and buy what will be prepared for you. The difference is that Wu offers a buffet of fresh food at a reasonable price; drinks are charged separately. From the buffet you can chose meats and/or sea food which you place on your plate marked with your number then you put your plate on the pass station and when prepared it is served to you at your table. Spices and sauces you find next to the pass station. The food cooked for you is not spiced unless you did so yourselves before placing it on the pass station or alternatively sprinkle it with some sauces later. Its up to you to spice your food well or spoil it. The see food is excellent, I would reserve a table and return to Wu.

Mediterrain flair 200 m from the baltic sea beach, a huge pretty terrace with flowers, Authentic traditionel italian kitchen with a modern touch based on fresh ingredients, the only original italian restaurant in Travemuende, lead by the family Ceccaroli
This must have been our eighth visit to the Bellavista - and the place, its people and food have yet to disappoint. Genuine Italian food within a spitting distance to the Baltic Sea - what more could you ask for? Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service, child-friendly atmosphere and food that tastes really good indeed. Our favourite dish is the penne all'Arrabbiata - simple, spicy and delicious. Worth a detour, if you ask me.

Probably the best meal I ever had in a hotel restaurant in Germany. Pleasant and modern decor and atmosphere. Very friendly and effective staff. Exceptionally good food, nicely presented.Just the portions could be a bit smaller.... Had dinner here twice and twice excellent. Short wine list but all wines available by the glass. Very good value for the price paid.Congratulations to the chef and entire staff.

This restaurant is among many along the moat as you enter the Old Town of Lubeck. The service was prompt, they provided a menu in English on request, and the food was tasty, plentiful and prompt.

Surprisingly there were very few people in the restaurant at lunchtime on a weekday. My dish with two varieties of fresh fish was excellent. A very historic place catering to the captains and officers of the shipping industry. Interesting ships models hang from the ceiling and a corner is devoted to display of navigation instruments. There is even a table reserved for those patrons who are ship's captains. Will visit again if I can make it back to Lubeck.

The antipasti was very good, and so was the secondo and the wine. But the service was entirely indifferent (an understatement); not a single smile and no friendliness whatsoever. And I certainly could have done without the view of the waitress munching away at her own dinner at the bar during my antipasti; not an endearing sight.

Letâs start with the conclusion: we got caught by Fangfrisch, hook, line and sinker. Itâs fabulous: food is fresh and tasty, staff friendly and efficient, it is extremely good value for money and the decor is lovely, too. It must be one of the best restaurants in Lübeck. Period. Itâs now our go-to when in town. My favourite is the fish soup. On my first visit I had the starter portion, followed by a hake on lentils. It was delicious and it was way too much. The starter portion is big enough as a main. The husband loves the Krabbenbrot as a starter: tiny shrimps piled high on dark bread. Whatever main courses we had - it was always super fresh. Everything gets washed down nicely with a bottle of very reasonable and very crisp white wine. Try the Grauburgunder. It is delicious. Fangfrisch also offer a nice selection of craft beer and tasty herbal tea. What is there not to like? Well, perhaps that they close quite early.
