I have mixed reactions to this restaurant. Great fish served very nicely. Beautiful interiors and nice place. Do not allow them to sit you in the middle - extremely noisy with screaming kids - walk away if they sit you there. Service is prompt but rushed - barely finished and someone scooping my plate up. They took my appetizer away even though not finished and served dinner before a chance to finish. They seriously need to slow down - never thought I would say that.

Casual but with very good food for the price - just what I hoped for in a Chowder House. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobster roll was one of the best I've had (I spend a lot of time around Boston and Cape Cod), but wife's haddock sandwich was excellent, Sam Adams draft hit the spot, french fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Lots of fun and we'll go back again for sure.

I was intrigued by the "chef"... DISAPPOINTINGFood was boring, I order a jambalaya basically rice with mushrooms and tomato 16$, my husband ordered a mortadela sandwich was ok, tasted a lot like mustard. 16$.Cocktails were ok, place is cute.WE WOULD NOT COME BACK

Too bad I didnât get to try somethinghere so I could review it. Seated pretty quickly outside, nice day then nothing...no waiter no water no nothing, other patrons seated around me and orders taken . Waited about 20 minutes tried to get the attention of anyone but I was invisible. The restaurant wasnât that busy.

After some exercise, my friends and i just wanted some apps and beers. The guy there (second time we did this -1st time was the same experience) didn't even really serve us. He pointed to the barrel of beers. They really don't want us there...even tho there was nobody else there. The hospitality is sub par
