More of a shop than a restaurant, selling locally caught sea food and fish. Not cheap but really good quality and freshness. Several types of platters available to pre order. Worth a visit just to look at the tanks containing lobsters, crab, langostines and large fish.

Spent the morning at Plage de Veillon and drove down to this restaurant for lunch. Was not busy, but can imagine at the height of summer in France itâs probably super busy. Lots of great seafood like whole sea bass, king prawns, salmon fillet, oysters, mussels. The lady was great serving, made recommendations and she even said they do have mussels but they were a bit small which I thought was very honest of her, basically saying what came in that day wasnât their usual catch. Qualify food, relaxed atmosphere, great service.
A small restaurant with a limited, but excellent menu featuring Moules et Frites (the chips are really good), Burgers and some specialty dishes. Excellent value for money and everything cooked (practically) in front of you! Service was great as well... either arrive early or pre-book your table...

Our restaurant in the city center, in the pedestrian streets, open all year for a seaside cuisine, conscientous and measured at cost. Every day, we propose our Carte, Menus and Slates with daily-choices. And more, you can stay in the hotel for holidays or
We dined here on the Friday night and were delighted by the selection of sea food for starters, followed by one of the tenderest steaks followed by a traditional dessert. The cuisine here is traditional french and moderately priced. The local wine was of excellent quality and priced sensibly. Overall an excellent evening, the service was superb with the waiter asking for the correct translation in english of framboise.

I would suggest to book to get a table on the veranda facing the sea, otherwise the restaurant were more than happy to accommodate us even though we hadnât booked but we had to sit inside. We had fabulous seafood, king prawns, moules, seafood platter which included oysters, even managed to accommodate our fussy 4 year old with some pasta. All the dishes were nicely presented and services was great. This place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice to come here for a celebration.

Visited based in some feedback seen on Tripadvisor. This was the poorest experience we had whilst on our two week vendee holiday. The waiter was friendly but food mediocre. Coming from an area renowned for its shellfish and seafood maybe our expectations were just too high.

Nicely cooked food simply presented in a pleasant sea-side family setting. There are a variety of set lunches at different prices - we had the 26 euro menu which was reasonable value but not exceptional. Nothing fancy - we had starters of crab (fresh half crab) and rabbit terrine, then raie served with salicorne and (borrowing from the 21 euro menu) dos de cabillaud served with a lemon and leek sauce. Puddings were coffee ice cream with liqueur and coffee creme brulee, both delicious and again simply presented. A coupe de champagne for 4.50 was excellent value and wine by the glass was pleasant. Fantastic location by the beach, understandably popular and crammed with families. Decor and layout of restaurant was seaside-y and slightly old-fashioned but service was friendly and family-orientated.
