The restaurant is located in the new wave hotel. The restrooms are shared with the hotel lobby. Not a problem e cept they arent maintained. The server brought the ice tea in small cocktsil glasses. She kept running back and forth yo kerp them filled. I saw other guests with soft drinks with taller glasses. Most important the food was great! I would totally revisit.

We are brewers of traditional ales and lagers. We compose simple menus around the season. We present ourselves authentically.
My wife and I have now eaten here several times. The room is certainly stylish, and the menu eclectic, but the food needs some work. We tarted with an IPA, and it was not to my taste. Not hoppy enough. We also started with a mezzo plate with hummus, smoked eggplant dip, pickled vegetables, olives and flatbread. The components were fine, but the presentation was stylish but very awkward to eat. The olives and pickled vegetables were piled on top of the two dips so that you had to push them out of the way to get at the dips. Pushing them off of the hummus pushed them onto the eggplant dip and vice verse. Very awkward. I had the tempura vegetables. The coating on the vegetables was thin and not adhered to the vegetables so it fell off when you went to eat the. The Yakatori (?) sauce accompanying them was very thin and did not have much flavor. My wife had the mussels and frites and declared them âfineâ. Nuff said, she loves mussels.

I seldom give Excellent to a restaurant but this out of the way Jamaican restaurant deserves it. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. Nothing beats that nowadays. She cooks the food when you order it. We had beef patties, curry shrimp, jerk oxtail, jerk chicken and some plantains. For drinks we had sorrel and ginger. Not a single item was a miss. Everything was great and the servings were very generous. This place definitely deserves the rating it gets!

Came for breakfast buffet for one of our guests. It was overpriced at $20.00 per adult! One of our group ordered a muffin...extremely dry! Dining room staff seemed very disorganized. Other than that, they made an effort. With the great restaurants steps away from the hotel, they should make some changes .

A group of us were looking to dine where we could also hear each other. This place served our needs, offered large variety and generous portions of moderately priced delicious meals. My only complaint is the waitress who is without emotion or feeling. A resting mean face does not enhance the diners experience.

Where the cotton blue sky meets the deep blue Atlantic Ocean along the Jersey Shore is an elegant haven called Avenue Le Club. By day, Avenue Le Club's relaxed elegance evokes the laid-back luxury of the Riviera, while providing members and their families
Textbook definition of mediocre restaurant. Not horrible but just nothing stands out at all. Anyone who says otherwise has a very bland palate. Took photos but nothing interesting enough to post. However, ambiance and location is nice and I guess that's why you come.

My wife and I have tried to eat here many times. But the wait was too long. We put our name in indoors (1.5 hour wait) and also outdoor area, 45 minutes. The outdoor cleared in 30 minutes. A smaller menu, pricy to say the least. Service was not the best, had to ask twice for napkins and silverware. Food selections was good. The seats on the boardwalk and the view of the beach was very nice. So bottom line: Pricey, so-so service, food okay, but great view.

Wanted some seafood for my birthday lunch with family. Ordered raw clams, flavored oysters, octopus salad, peel and eat shrimp, stuffed shrimp and a landlubber sandwich of chicken parm. All the food was outstanding. It has been a while since we visited Rooney;s and it was an unexpected surprise.Sunday was a beautiful day and we sat at an open window enjoying the atmosphere. Everything, service, ambiance, value, etc. worked out so well. Will be sure to visit sooner rather than later.
