My wife and I attended Chop Steakhouse London for our 8th-anniversary dinner. The staff cheerfully greeted us and helped us to make the correct choice with information about our meals. they met all our needs and were very attentive and courteous. We highly recommend people to attend this restaurant for any occasion or just for a casual meet. Food and service are awesome. They even took the time to present us with a happy anniversary card signed by all staf..how nice and unexpected.Hello Jim D.So great to hear that our team made your special occasion one to remember. It doesn't get more "stick to your ribs" than excellent fish 'n' chips, and this place has it. My wife and I split one of the halibut dinners for takeout, which consisted of one large and one small piece of halibut, fries, and coleslaw. The fish was NOT greasy, and the batter was crisp without being burnt. The slaw was the just the right balance between vinegary and creamy. The fries were your usual fresh-cut. For dine-in, the place is tiny, however, so you might have to wait. The takeout was popular, and there were five people there ahead of me taking out. Given the quality of the food, I'd say that was unsurprising. Certainly recommended!N.B. - The takeout and dine-in menus have different prices, but neither of them is unreasonable.Thank you so much from Ireneâs

I am almost afraid to write this review. It is small and I am afraid new customers will overwhelm this spot. It has been in business for decades. We eat in but there are only a few tables. Most of the business is take out. Staff is amazing. They greet all customers many by name. The best part is the fish and chips.

I was taken there for my birthday and I had Mussels for an appetizer and the Lobster and Shrimp for my main course. They were all excellent. My partner had the steak and shrimp and she said that the steak was cooked to her liking but it had a distinct taste that she said she didn't like. I tried it and confirmed it didn't taste that great and didn't taste like a good quality steak. It looked great though! Service was great.

First visits were excellent! Friendly service in a freshly painted dining room. The halibut in light batter was really nice, I like the vinegar-based coleslaw and the tasty chowder. I think on Tuesday & Sunday nights there is an all-u-can-eat special. This is now a restaurant on our âregularâ list.
