We just stumbled across this restaurant on the beach. We didn't eat this time but the menu looks delicious . We had a few drinks and enjoyed the stunning view of the coastline. We will be back to try the food and soak up some more of the wonderful atmosphere.

This restaurant is in the main road in Llanca Port on the way to the harbour. it is small but very chic in a quiet sort of way. The seating is comfortable as is the decor. the toilets are small but clean and well appointed. We had a simple lunch of a tomato and buffalo cheese salad followed by grilled Mediterranean sardines and fried anchovies. For dessert a local dish whose name I forget but it is like millefille with a sweet potimaron jam filling. it was excellent. The white wine, we tried 2, was cold and refreshing. The first was somewhat sweet but very good,. The second from Mas Llunes (a local wine producer) was dry which went well with the fish. I finished with a coffee which again was very good.the server is the owner along with her husband who is the chef. He does remarkably well considering the kitchen is 1.2m x 3 metres (total)Outside (across the road) they have a small covered terrace so one can eat al fresco.Well worth a visit and not expensive. They specialise in fish and many of those are caught locally and are priced daily by weight. The day we were there they had Turbot and Dorade as specials.

This is the place for fish and seafood cooked exactly as it should be - simply and using only the essential additional ingredients (mainly oil, garlic). The starters include fabulous baby squid in batter, large squid a la plancha and sautéed baby cuttle fish (oh and some heavenly anchovies). But the star dish is the Suquet de Peix, the recipe for which has not changed for generations (and the same family has run this restaurant for generations). This is a fish stew with potatoes cooked up in a fish stock with lots of garlic and featuring three types of fish cooked succulently - heaven on earth.

A family affair, we took sanctuary as the wind was winding up as the sun went down. They accommodated us, but the table was a little cramped. The food and wine was reasonably priced and the quality was good. The highlight was the créme Catalan, expertly blow-torched before serving. We did not eat out often in Llança as our villa was so well appointed. We would certainly recommend as a safe choice for dinner. Service was good too and the loos very clean

The ambience in this place is out of this World. Very nice landscaping and lighting effects, very soothing. The service is impeccable. The food gets a 10 on 10. The Tuna tartare, the salads and the prawns, wow. For desert the brownie with ice cream.
