Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Litochoro. Litochoro (Greek: Λιτόχωρο, Katharevousa: Λιτόχωρον) is a town and a former municipality in the southern part of the Pieria regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it has been part of the Dio-Olympos municipality, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It is located at the base of Mount Olympus, on the western shore of the Thermaic Gulf. The first recorded mention of Litochoro is in an account of a visit by Saint Dionysius (Greek: Άγιος Διονύσιος) to Mount Olympus in the 16th century. The town is a popular destination for those wishing to climb Mount Olympus as almost all climbing routes begin to the southwest of the town.

Restaurant offers fresh fish but misses the mark on quality. We had the fried muddled and squid and they had a peculiar strange oily taste to them. I would recommend a fresh salad and vegetables. The location is perfect right on the water and when your finished there is a trendy beach bar next door which seems very popular.

A very nice and romantic beach bar, just by the sea. You can enjoy your coffee, soda or drink, watching the waves of the Aegeon Sea!

This was one of the best restaurants I visited in Pieria. Family owned and operated with great attention to detail. Very friendly atmosphere. They accommodated every request. The food was fresh, farm to table or sea to table. Excellent choices offered all day. Restaurant is near the old train station in the Gritsa area. I highly recommend it.
Nero Restaurant is located within Cavo Olympo Luxury Hotel and serves contemporary Greek & Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can sit indoors as well as on the outdoor deck and enjoy the amazing views to the Aegean Sea. Chef Ioannis Bacharis and his team use o
We were there the other day and we found it to be quite nice. The angus beef/risotto/beef croquets were excellent. The squid in pesto looked amazing but was very salty. I like salt but the chef was pushing it on most dishes. The establishment itself was nice and the staff were great.
It firstly appeared last year in order to us pleasantly surprise us with banquet of flavours that were offered. âThe Gullâ is here in order to stay. It is a Myconian tavern of Olympos Beach that dominates precisely above the sea in the verge of the rock.
This taverna is in the centre of a camp site but welcomes walk in visitors with a smile. Food is very good with excellent presentation and great value prices, we ate here 3 times in a week and every thing was spot on

Went here after looking at TA reviews. A short uphill walk from the main square and tucked away around a corner. Village taverna with bi-fold doors allowing for 4 tables just outside and probably 8 inside. The most annoying thing we find in local places is that the owners tend to invite local men in to watch football on the tv. Here the owner clearly had more interest in his friends and the football than the paying guests which was a shame. The food was actually very good although when bringing out my wifes sea bass he apologised that they had cooked 2 small fish as they didnt have a larger one. All well and good but given 2 lots of bones, the actual meat content was scant. I had a meat dish which was absolutely fine, as was the wine served in the anodised metal jug. The place lacked any personality until the football finished and the locals got up from their chairs to go home, presumably to a meal cooked by their wives! Then the owner seemed to gain more interest in his customers. He became quite jovial at times and promised a larger fish if we returned later in our holiday......we didn't.
